  1. I think it's a pretty great effort, bro.
  2. Love the contrasting stitch patterns.
  3. Bravo, Tim, as always.
  4. They do have long delivery times to the States. And, because of that they offer free shipping. The old "slow boat from China" trick. But, at least the are up front about the time frame. Their templates are great, although sometimes some instruction would be helpful. The pricking irons are probably as good as any others that are twice the price. Most of the other stuff is good too. I was a little disappointed in the square\round hammer. I haven't used it yet, but it looks a little rough. I also bought his full set of round punches and they seem awesome. But, I have had limited time at the bench with them. The little needle holder tubes listed on eBay are fabulous for the price. Machined brass and exotic hard wood at 2 for 6 bucks. They are really nice. I have ordered lots of stuff from them and give them high marks. And he usually sends a little Wuta gift with every order. I haven't tried their thread or slicker yet, but I did buy some. I also haven't tried their edgers or creasers. They will always have some of my business.
  5. Great job. I love Wuta products. His higher quality stuff is top notch and very reasonable.
  6. Also, the cowboy outlaw is just about to hit the American market. Just FYI.
  7. Apologies, I hadn't heard about that one.
  8. As far as I know Uwe has only built tables for the 441 clones, not the smaller machines.
  9. Pm sent. Thanks.
  10. I love em all. Really like the gp100. And yeah, I did see where he said he wouldn't be wet molding it. I was just checking for information's sake.
  11. President Trump is trying to get that worked out. Seems our allies like to impose high tariffs on goods coming from the United States.
  12. The video is for a 686 plus which is seven rounds. A 686 is only six rounds. I would think a six shot blue gun would have a different cylinder than a seven shot blue gun. If you were going to mold the cylinder I would think it would create a problem. Am missing something here?
  13. 617 holds 7 rounds. I don't know if the 686 mold would work.
  14. Have you tried a little locktite on the threads of your current maul? That may help. I would buy one in the weight you want to tool with. Then I would use something cheaper for strap ends that is heavier. Most people use more than one maul. I have three that I have aquired and a fourth that I have given away. And, I don't even do tooling.
  15. I did. I didn't know you could get caps for the back of them. I imagine your length would need to be near perfect for a cap to work.
  16. @KingsCountyLeather, that is the only way Terry Knipschield does it. He will not take a payment until he has the knife ready for you (and that is usually months). If you don't have the money when he contacts you, he has a line if people waiting to pay. Luckily, I have always had his money when he was ready. And he is worth the wait.
  17. Great. I had to look up #104 rivets. Are they comparable to the #12s from Tandy?
  18. @chrisash Shell cordovan, whiskey color. High end leather that comes from only the rump of horses. Each horse only yields 2 shells. Very expensive stuff.
  19. (pulls up a chair and starts eating popcorn).
  20. If it is around Friday I may be able to take it. Of course no holds.
  21. Well it certainly looks fantastic.
  22. In what I have seen in videos... People leave the needle down, raise the presser foot, turn, then lower the presser foot, and continue. That may be what you tried, but former and latter always mix me up.
