  1. I haven't ordered the creasers yet. You're pretty happy with them?
  2. That's what general folk would think. Any kind of installation from the big box stores is all done by subcontractors. They don't actually do any of the work. People think because they are a national size company that they must be the place to go. The harsh reality (that too many people find out too late) is that time and money is wasted on them. Folks are better off going to a family owned store that specializes in their needs. Sorry for the rant, but I've seen too many people live the horror story.
  3. Right, I just thought they were a great example, because we have been dogging them by name for 50 years. Kizer Cutlery is another company that is out of China making great products. I think I have 5 of their pocket knives. I don't think I'll ever need another pocket knife.
  4. Well until recently, China was no threat to these higher quality companies. But, that has changed. They have access to better steel and equipment these days. And are approaching the retail market directly. Before they were subcontractors building to the cheapest price point for a said company.
  5. +1 for Wuta. I just got a nice order in from them. I think I'll post a thread tonight about them. I have always gotten good service from them.
  6. 34 bucks sounds like a deal to learn some boot making. Thanks for sharing the big daddy site. I hadn't seen it before.
  7. Crafttool is the Tandy branded tools. Crafttool pro is the higher end version of their tools. But, they don't make a pro version of everything. What about Abby of England?
  8. Did you try smoothing the bevel with a spoon? I still think it looks perfect.
  9. The Osbourne should be fine. The Tandy's are ok. But they always need a good sharpening. If you're up for it, check out the offerings from Weaver.
  10. Man, I figured anybody that new about those things would get a good laugh out of it. It's left over from my remodeling company. I still use it every now and then.
  11. Yeah, I was joking about that. It takes about a 1/3 of a gallon just to fill the lines.
  12. Swwwweeeeeeeeet rig. I think I probably have all the stuff to make a booth.
  13. Thanks, the strap was a little over 3 hours. Do you airbrush inside?
