  1. Thats Hog's seat not mine, I havnt gotten around to getting one done yet. I do agree somewhat, a iron ass helps alot lol.
  2. Looks great David, nice idea of the suede inlay.
  3. Looks great man, the dragon really stands out and definatly goes with the bike. Agree the flap could be a little longer but oh well, still a great job.
  4. Yes please do, I havnt scene one of your cool masks in a long time. Its allways interesting to see what you come up with.
  5. Just like to add the tandy 4-1 works for me for a lacing awl. I took the lacing awl blade that comes with it and put a high shine on that guy, darn thing glides thru leather and finger, then took some plyers and torqued down on the retainer. Its not gonna be very good for quick change outs but works great for lacing when I dont punch the lace holes.
  6. Springfeild leather Weaver Zacks Atleast Im pretty sure. I got mine from springfeild so I know for sure they carry it. I just started playing with it and it seems really nice so far. It doesnt have a strong smell of anykind and is absorbed quickly with the leather Im using it on and doesnt leave any funny residue or greasy feeling or anything. Seems good so far.
  7. THat looks outstanding, love the skrullwork lol. Glad your staying busy, it would be a bad sign if your shop wasnt keeping you on your toes.
  8. Great looking shop, cant wait till I can get one someday. Thats a neat ol tractor/retrofitted lawn mower thing also. Not sure what it is but looks like it does its job well.
  9. Great looking purse Tina. Everytime I see your stuff makes me wanna play with the acrylics that I have sitting on the shelf.
  10. WOW that is really really nice, I like it alot. Great job on that. I think you should start a new thread with your work as you finish. That way more people will realize your showing more work.
  11. Finally got around to getting the video and watched it this evening and must say that is really interesting and worth the money. I must say it opened up many new avenues to leather working. I assume this is the only video but if there are any more available does anyone know? Thanks.
  12. HAHA I looked at the pic before I read the heading and was trying to figure out what you were trying to accomplish with the stamping. Great project and sounds like your getting her started early. That is a outstanding looking knife.
  13. You do some very cool work. I have browsed your etsy store and checked out our helms and mask and whatnot and allways impressed. Good job.
  14. Haha great work Tom. As far as the grey areas are you talking about after you put on the aussie wax you get greyish looking areas. I know when I use it I gotta let it dry for a day or so then it buffs out nicely and leaves a mellow sheen to it.
  15. Excellent carving and dyeing. Really like. Great pictures too.
  16. His forum name is Leerworker, finally found the thread down in the forum admin and stuff folder in the billy2shoes thread down there.
  17. Look at the color of the tail of the small white plane.
  18. Im sorry Im in idiot, the seat looks great, what I was commenting on was the lacing. I wanted to say mexican round braid or whatever its called. I just like that round effect of that type of lacing. I dont know why I said basketweave, your seat covering looks great as is. As far as basket weave it takes a few tries but you can get ahang of it after a little practice.
  19. I think you did pretty good. I like the color alot, very good naturel brown that looks good. For your first try at oak leaves that is not bad at all. Mine were far flatter and less detailed when I tried them. Keep practicing and they will look better and better as you go along. As with any project you can improve with your technique and as you get more experience you will learn what works and what doesnt. Your off to a great start just keep doing it and it should do nothing but get better.
  20. Looks great so far. Interesting paint also, may have to try that out.
  21. They look fantastic, I like that lacing around the edge, gotta try that sometime. That first knife is really nice looking. Looks like it deserves one of your sheaths.
  22. That looks really good HOG. I think maybe a basketweave would make it look a tad better just in the lacing department but over all looks really good IMHO. Also best of all it fits the bike very well.
  23. Hey Ed what is barenia leather, I looked it up and have scene several different types (atleast looked that way to me) of leather that was called that but nothing to describe what it actually was.
