  1. @Leonguaranipy The dealer you purchase the machine from. Or as mentioned above Uwe, have read great reviews on his tables.
  2. Not enough coffee in me. The previous post should read "On so many levels". I should not type before waking.
  3. Thank you so much for sharing. Great video no many levels. Wonderful holster. Gene
  4. Stunning. Unique. You should be very proud.
  5. Sorry, mount the motor horizontal or mount a spare motor in the horizontal position and use the arbor listed above
  6. Take the motor or a spare motor and attach motor arbor like below https://www.woodworkingshop.com/product/cl10009/ Hope this helps Gene
  7. Whale of a job. Love the angled stitching. Is there a reason for it other than aesthetics?
  8. @AllenSYou are in the US. You may also want to call one of your local auto parts dealer. I buy my 3M mask at the local Carquest Auto Parts for $29.00. They also sell prefilters which will extend the life of your main filter.
  9. On something as small as a hat band. How about using a course hair blade to make the texture and then paint or die for the proper color?
  10. @ nstarleather Thank you kindly. I will do that. I have asked my normal supplier. They say 15/16 oz is as thick as they can get. Having read that the tannery splits the leather to a uniform thickness makes a great deal of sense as to why. I did not think all cows grew the same thickness hides.
  11. Does anyone know of a source where extra thick hides are available on a regular basis?
  12. Mail a catalogue to bullmoosepaddles@yahoo.com please
  13. Classic. Gorgeous in every detail. Made me smile this morning. Thank you for sharing.
  14. Interested. Do you have a price in mind by the set/pound for boot tops? Also some of the lizard. PM if you would please.
  15. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Baltic-Birch-Plywood-1-8-thick-24-x-30/251801764646?hash=item3aa08e0326:g:~kYAAOSwEetV8WKL I know this is not box board. But it is near the thickness, certainly durable, and can be bought many places. Maybe sourced in a woodworking supply store near you. It can be cut with a jigsaw, circular saw, coping saw. Also you could check you local big box home improvement store to see if they carry hardboard. Most here in the states will cut it down to easily transportable, but usable smaller sizes for you. For a minimal fee. I use either of the above it all the time to make tracing patterns for repeat items. They can also be easily glued to leather with most any acceptable leather glue. Good luck with your project.
  16. @AdamPCain what is the clamp called, or where does one find one like it? I use a laser to align certain cuts in my wood shop. This is just a great idea for the sewing machine. Thank you for sharing.
  17. Great ides all. I especially like the magnet idea. What is it you did to disable the slip joint on the pliers? Thank you for sharing.
  18. @Mjolinar Have not got to the wifes mallet yet. But I did get started modifying some short boards laying around the shop lately. Its a work in process. But I want it to look good. I intend to take your clam idea about sitting on the couch, and sit it in a vacent chair side space, in the living room. I can then sew and listen to TV, as well as spend time close to the wife. Everyone will be happy and maybe a few bucks can be made in the process. I like the idea of being not only close to home, but actually in the house.
  19. @SanchI use fire hose for some of the items I make. If you or anyone else wants firehose, it will be $2 per foot plus shipping, cut to what ever length you wish it. Send me a message if you wish to have some. The hose I use is 3.125" wide double braided. Now I have to make myself one to try. Question if you will please. Do you leave the hose intact, or cut the outer braid off and attach it to a wooden backer like your canvas? Thank you........Gene
  20. Great work. Simply beautiful, shows great pride in ones work. I wouuld want to see it five years from now when its worn in and shows the patina it is bound to develop.
  21. Sixty here. Paying the price for some of my youthful indiscretions.
  22. Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing.
  23. Also you can try a search for Plaid Liquid Leaf Paint. My brother used to restore old cast iron lamps and antique picture frames. He used a similar product, rubbed on like we use antiquing, to create highlights. Good luck
