  4. I like to use a black or any color needed felt tip laundry marker. I figure if it doesn't come off in the laundry it should be a good permanent edge marker. Tom

    Help With Braid

    About 5 years ago I bought a book called "Encyclopedia of Rawhide and Leather Braiding" by Bruce Grant. Outstanding book. The public library even has it. I checked it out so many times I just decided to go to Tandy and buy it. Glad I did. Tom

  14. Just printed the wallet pattern and wanted to say thanks. Not sure what I'll carve on it but I'll post pics when I get all figured out. May do some kinda basket weave or even do it in plain black. My bike is all flat black so it seems logical. Thanks again. Tom

  17. I agree with Storm about the 4-5 oz leather. I like to use a lighter weight for the cover and then line it. I really like the colors. Every time I try to color something it comes out funky. Oh well I guess I'll just keep practicing. Nice job. Tom

  20. Had to have a quick medicine holder to take on the road so I threw this together. Now that I'm back home,again. Feels like I live on the road. Enough about me. Now when I recuperate from this last trip I can make a nicer one. Tom

  24. Well heres a couple more attempts at it. I'm trying out a tool I saw on a youtube video. It works pretty good. Even I can seem to do it. I've been covering all kinds a things. Still having problems trying to use the mandrels but I think I'll get it sooner or later. Tom
