Are you kidding me??? That has to be the most AWESOME rig I have ever seen. Looks like it should go to a Museum of Leather MasterCraft. I'll be staring at this one for a very long time. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I like to use a black or any color needed felt tip laundry marker. I figure if it doesn't come off in the laundry it should be a good permanent edge marker.

About 5 years ago I bought a book called "Encyclopedia of Rawhide and Leather Braiding" by Bruce Grant. Outstanding book. The public library even has it. I checked it out so many times I just decided to go to Tandy and buy it. Glad I did.

Just printed the wallet pattern and wanted to say thanks. Not sure what I'll carve on it but I'll post pics when I get all figured out. May do some kinda basket weave or even do it in plain black. My bike is all flat black so it seems logical. Thanks again.

Howdy all. Been gone awhile. Just bought a Dyna Glide Street Bob and thought I'd try my hand at making a few things for it and myself. Tool bag and wallet first. Thanks for posting the pattern.

I agree with Storm about the 4-5 oz leather. I like to use a lighter weight for the cover and then line it. I really like the colors. Every time I try to color something it comes out funky. Oh well I guess I'll just keep practicing. Nice job.

Had to have a quick medicine holder to take on the road so I threw this together. Now that I'm back home, again. Feels like I live on the road. Enough about me. Now when I recuperate from this last trip I can make a nicer one.

Thanks for the web link Brian.
I think I'm gonna get one of the Turks head cook books. Looks like a lot of fun stuff in there. Heres a few more I've tried, or should I say tied.

I was eyeballing a slim jim and cheese snack that needed something.
Tom
thank you. I plan on doing just that. Learning one knot and going from there. It's still kinda tuff.

Well heres a couple more attempts at it. I'm trying out a tool I saw on a youtube video. It works pretty good. Even I can seem to do it. I've been covering all kinds a things. Still having problems trying to use the mandrels but I think I'll get it sooner or later.
