  1. Very cool Chuck. I have several NAA Minis and I make all my own holsters for them. But my EDC is my NAA Black Widow 22 mag 2" brl. I usually carry it on my belt , T shirt covers it nicely , but I sometimes just drop it in my pocket. I laughed when I first read your post, thought it said " I was drinking yesterday " lol drinking and guns don't mix, glad I read it twice.
  2. Good looking shealth. I tried having the laser cut the holes. I got so many comment about the large holes I went back to using the stitching chisels . I have the laser cut a line where my holes will be then punch out with the chisel. This embeds the thread just a little and helps with wear on the threads.
  3. Those are beautiful I'd be proud to have them on my bike or my horse if I could find one LOL
  4. I bought a box of 10 cheap readers on ebay and just leave a pair in each room and the car, Problems solved LOL
  5. I think Javalina are protected
  6. My fear would be putting a rivet thru any kind of rubber or silicone tubing will rip out in short order. I think wrapping several winds of a strong thread would work better. JMHO
  7. I can just dream of doing work like this.

Its a Beautiful and thoughtful gift and I'm sure they will appropriate it. I spend a lot of time with my best friend his wife and their dogs I love Photography and Dogs are fun to photograph. When their Irish Setter Passed I looked thru my Pictures of Her and found a nice one and made a large canvas print for them. They loved it and hung it in their home office.

    Enjoy it

Beautiful work and welcome to the forum
  10. Nice repair job looks awesome. 1 thing if I may. I think I would have sewn the D rings and velcro I think they will get a lot of pressure on them with you putting your feet up and down all the time and eventually I think the rivets might pull out. Just my thinking.
  11. I have no experience with lightburb or grbl I do all my design work in Corel Draw and then transfer to laser. Theres a free program called Inkscape that you can design in and then transfer to laser. Don't know what format these diodes need. I don't think any design software is super easy to learn, they all have a big learning curve from what I can see. looking at this pecker 1 you guys know that for about $400 you can get a Co2 40 watt laser engraver cutter that will do all you want to do and more and probably easier to learn . Theres a ton of people on here using co2 and will be more then happy to help you thru the learning curve. There not hard to use and do a better and faster job then any diodes. just my 2¢
  12. Looks really great That letter A looks familiar , like from a White Collar episode
  13. 3D laser printer is what we have it's just a co2 laser engraver cutter. Don't fall for the BS glowforge tries to feed you.
  14. yep very nice and on my list also
  15. Ok it is a beautiful bag BUT I havta ask after going thru all the work on the piping on the bag why on earth did you leave the edge's on the handle and patch unfinished ???
  16. pretty fancy key chain very nice work
  17. yes if theres a lot of small detailed areas weeding is a pain, thats why I prefer a couple coats of sheen or resoleane or 50-50 mop& glo just wipe off with a damp rag
  18. they have masking for leather laser engraving . https://www.jpplus.com/paper-masking-for-laser-engraving?sku=LASGLASS-RL&gclid=CjwKCAjwyqWkBhBMEiwAp2yUFl8C-m5maK7vB28ItOYHTHuE8oFPygbYEku18pAWWlNt5BfUYe5HThoCsTwQAvD_BwE But I usually put 2 coats of sheen or resoleane on before engraving , then 99% of the residue wipes off with a damp rag
  19. masking will make a huge difference in the afterburn and very little clean up if any.
