  1. I use a soft scotch pad that on the back of some sponges and water. Does a good job Sometimes I do nothing as personally I think the charred edges give the work some character
  2. I'm so Jealous beautiful work
  3. People still read real books
  4. Very nice new for old and I was curious as to leather weight on first one. Must have been like 5 oz to wear out that much in a few years. I'm sure the new one will last much longer.
  5. Love your real basket weave very cool.
  6. Dude thru all this you still haven't figured out that mop & Glo is not just a floor cleaner its an acrylic sealer too. And yes if you send me a bucket of Resoline or Eco-Flo Satin Sheen, I will clean and seal my floor with it, and I'm sure it will do a nice job of it, after all it is an acrylic sealer just like Mop & Glo
  7. Wow you did a bang up job for sure I have to try a belt some time.
  8. I've tried that too on wood really doesn't work that great
  9. FYI I did some research on leather sealers and found almost all of them use most of the same ingredients that are used in Mop & Glo of course each product has some variations to make it there own but the basic seal stuff is the same Mop & Glo Water. ... Modified Acrylic Polymer. ... .......................................... Most leather sealers have this C13-15 Alcohols Ethoxylated (branched and linear) ... Ethoxydiglycol (Diethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether) ... Oxidized Polyethylene. ... Maleic Modified Rosin Resin. ... Zinc Oxide. ... Fragrance/Parfum. Mop & Glo probably sits on the shelves of leather stores under some fancy name
  10. Oh gessh Fred don't tell him to use a none specified leather product on his very important high class leather .
  11. Doc I love ya man I love wood stain on leather and mop and glo 50/50 is awesome in my book. Use it on all my holsters and knife sheaths never had a complaint
  12. Funny you come and ask for an alternative to what you been doing and we give you one and you say thanks but no thanks I stick with what I've done
  13. Beautiful piece of leather Chuck nice work
  14. I'm just playing with these holsters, this one I painted a Yosemite Sam on but its way to small and very hard to paint, also when I cut out the pat the strap was to short so I had to add a piece. I tried to use a line 20 snap but messed up trying to set it 3 times gave up put a 24 on. But again its a decent holster and holds the gun perfectly.
  15. Ive done it both ways Mask and resist I like the resist way better because you don't have all the weeding problems you have with a mask.
  16. nice holster and nice of you to do that
