    AWESOME work !!!! I don't do the box stitch because I am no good at it . If I lay out my stitching holes on the body piece while it is flat , can I then just punch through those with an awl to get inside holes once I have formed and sewn the body up ?????????

    If you can stand the price ..... you really can't beat a Starrett !! I bit the bullet and bought one about 10 years into my carpenter career and never looked back !

    Thanks Chuck . No orienteering but around here if you walk a bearing for 30 minutes most likely you will hit some kind of road or trail .

    While digging through some old stuff I found a broken compass ......... hummmm lost the bezel but at least it can be used again .

    Where are you going to buy from ? Make a deal with that business for a supply and like any other blade they could be sharpened several times before replacing . If you buy the tool online it most likely will come with a blade and the you are in hot water , good luck
