  9. It would be very helpful to know where on earth you are. This is an international forum with members from all parts of the world. I'm sure you would like to deal with someone close by if possible. According to your IP address, you may be in the area of Katy, Texas. Let us know for sure and you will be able to find someone who can do this for you. Tom
  10. You can try oxalic acid mixed 1 teaspoon crystals to 1 pint of water. Available at paint stores and also under a brand name Bar Keepers Friend (the powdered version contains abrasives). Oxalic acid is used to bleach stains out of leather and wood. Try it in an inconspicuous spot before you decide on a larger area. Tom
  11. I guess you didn't read my post above! Already done! But thanks anyway. Appreciate the effort in maintaining integrity of threads here. Tom
  12. @anvilring Downloaded your photos from Flicker and placed them in your original post so they won't get lost when you or someone changes permissions, deletes, or moves files. This will preserve the integrity of this thread for future readers. Tom
  13. There are many resources available on the net to resize photos. See this thread for several suggestions. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/15122-how-to-post-pictures-on-lw/?do=findComment&comment=551171 800x600 is adequate and you can post many, many photos in one post! Tom
  14. The dial should change the max speed. It of course does not alter the foot pedal action. If there is no noticeable change in speed with the potentiometer, then there is an electrical circuit problem. (Start with the dial at high speed while the machine is running, pedal to the metal, with no thread in the needle, and turn it down. You should see/hear the difference. If you are running the motor only, you may not see/hear the difference. Might need a tachometer to see. Also speed will likely vary inversely to the load, so make sure there is some load on it.) Did you buy from a dealer or privately? If you bought from a dealer, go back to him for support. If a private sale, still need to go back to the seller and negotiate a fix or replacement. Else you will have to find an actual circuit diagram and trouble shoot yourself, or replace it. Tom
  15. Please post your photos on leatherworker.net Thanks Tom
  16. @anvilring “ It's always better to post pics directly to the post, that way there's no concerns about pics going missing down the track and making a post meaningless.” This really becomes apparent when you look at older posts. People drop their account, delete photos, move them, what-ever and then the thread becomes useless for anyone reading it down the road. Please post your photos here. Tom

  24. What motor is one it? If it is a digital servo motor, there is a program setting for direction of rotation. If you want more help, you need to specify what the motor is, and a picture may be of help too in identifying it. You should have an instruction sheet for the servo motor, should have been supplied by the vendor. You should also go back to the vendor for his help and support. Tom
  25. And the 20U has a single hole needle plate available, so becomes a straight stitch machine. I have switched mine over. Tom
