Bag Dispenser
Tree Reaper replied to Tree Reaper's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
I would have liked the bags to come out the bottom but the length of the belt clip wouldn't allow it. The case would have been too large. -
Bag Dispenser

Thanks Mijo; The flap is fairly stiff on this one and it opens easily. I used it last night and it worked well. -
Welcome to this forum Azur, I hope your project goes well.

I have the same problem. Wrote them twice to ask about my order and no answer. If it isn't here in a day or two I'll have to call them. POOR SERVICE

You people with dogs will know what this is.

I usually wet it and then bake it in the oven but there's a fine line between hardening and ruining. Lowest temperature for twenty to thirty minutes max.

How Do You Know Which Size Oblong Punch You Need?
Tree Reaper replied to ranchmom77's topic in How Do I Do That?
You're welcome. The punch sizes will be very close to the buckle size but everyone sooner or later acquires them all. -

Illuminated Night Collar
Tree Reaper replied to Tree Reaper's topic in Collars, Cuffs, Leashes and Leads
Thank you; The only real problem I have is with the battery box. The switch is on the bottom of the box and has to be relocated to the end. The top slides off to replace the battery so why they would put the switch on the bottom is beyond me. -

5/8 punch works good for 5/8 buckles. Kevin. -

Illuminated Night Collar

Thanks. The pictures are two of the same collar. They are automotive LED strips bought two in a package at Walmart and powered by a 9 volt battery. The cover slides off the battery box for battery replacement. -
Here's another night collar ...

Did you try with damp leather?
-
The leather was cut on a curve and then stitched.

First Knife Sheath
Tree Reaper replied to Jaan's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Looks good Jaan, did you put a welt in there to protect the lace from being cut? Kevin. -
Thanks everyone for the help, I talked with her tonight and she now wants one inch wide webbing so this will be easy, thanks again. Kevin.

Way To Make Light Colored Thread Resist Dye?
Tree Reaper replied to thekid77's topic in How Do I Do That?
You can make the holes and then dye. -
Thanks for taking the time to search, I saw that but it's lighter than what I was looking for. The thickness I wanted is closer to .095" and ten yards is about 9 more than I'll ever use. I hate to bother anyone for a measly one yard but it's most likely a one timer. I tried talking her into leather but she's set on a bright neon like nylon. If I can't locate it I might end up with the thinner webbing but I hate to settle on something I won't be as happy with.

Thanks Tom.

Hi, I have a friend that wants a lime green webbing collar for her dog, 1 1/2 " width. I've tried searching but haven't had any luck. Anyone have a source? Thanks. Kevin.

Tree Reaper replied to KandB's topic in How Do I Do That?
I use a foam brush, mink oil on the finished side and masking tape on the flesh side.- 23 replies

You have to paint on a block out or resist to the areas you don't want dark prior to applying the dye.
