  3. That was a very well done video, and as stated above the slow motion parts were great. It was fun to watch thanks for posting it. David
  4. Hey Chavez have you tried using a hair dryer on the Aussie conditioner when you put it on? I don't know who came up with the idea but I do it that way. Then let it soak in and buff it out. David
  5. Neatsfoot oil in a very light coat helps replace the oils lost in tooling and cleaning. I use old cotton socks and put a couple of drops on it and rub it on the leather. The key word being light coats. Let it dry completely before dying. Do it a couple of times and you will get the feel of how much you want to put on. David
  6. The only experience I had was with a vinagrooned motercycle bag I made with a bag kote finish. Most of them went away when I put a good coat of Aussie conditioner on it. However most of them were in the gusset and not out in front. David
  7. I would check with a Tandy leather store if there is one close. If not walk into a custom saddle or boot shop they should be able to point you in the right direction. There is always this forum.ask away. What type projects are you wanting to do? Good luck David
  8. Looks good, I will have to try a dowel rod. David
  9. I don't know if the clay would hold up to the use of a bone folder and pushing and pulling, etc... It would be worth a shot to try I guess. Check out the Stohlman books on leather cases for some other ideas including the blind stitching and gouging for corners etc. Good luck David
  10. Chris, thanks for taking the time to do this. I appreciate it. David
  11. I like it coloring is good. Also curious about the lacing not in a bad way, just most are laced around the flap that I have seen. But it is a nice looking bag. Thanks for posting it. David
  12. Hey Cheryl everybody needs to step back and evaluate things every once in a while, so you are normal in that respect. Keep your head up and listen to what your customers need/ want. Even the ones that don't buy. Find the need and fill it. Worry about things you can control and not worry about what you don't have control of. Of course it easier to say it than do it sometimes. David
  13. Chris thanks for posting the pics on the tool bag assembly. That is cool the way you have your inside flap and the bag opening. David

  16. Hey Cheryl you should brag. Look how far you have come and what you have done. Glass is half full not half empty. Don't you hate cheerful people when you are down? Anyway I think you need to take a nap and chill. Proud of you David
