  1. I bought mine used and the standard table was already set up. I find it too high to sit at in a chair. And almost too low to stand at. But, I think it is sitting in the middle of it's range. I will try to take a look at it when I get home today. I am almost certain it is adjustable. For reference, I am 5'10. I used to be 6'1" but my chiropractor said/proved otherwise.
  2. Here is some from solar leather machines.... http://www.solar-leather.com/supporthelp
  3. Just call cowboy Bob or Alexander at solar leather. They will give you an honest answer to your question. I have never heard of them steering anyone the wrong way.
  4. I bet a big paper chopper would have come in handy.
  5. Yeah, there just aren't a lot of them to be had. I'm sure availability falls into a category not unlike exotics.
  6. Well, it looks like @CowboyBob or somebody is going to maybe have to pony up a machine for a review? Or contact a customer who has purchased one and ask them to do a review. I have seen this question asked several times already. On this site as well as a few Facebook forums I'm a member of. I'm certainly not the person to give a review of it, but I'm sure there is someone out there worthy of doing an independent review. I see people ready to spend money, but they are having a time commiting to this new platform. In this digital world we are living in, people just aren't spending big dollars without researching first. With no independent reviews, they will spend elsewhere. This may be a consideration for future r&d budgets? Just some food for thought...
  7. Springfield Leather has been stocking a few recently from Horween. And, Rocky Mountain Leather Supply has some Italian shell available. I haven't tried either.
  8. No worries, like I said, I don't really need an armor pattern. Or even a set of armor, but I'm kind of an info horder as well as a tool whore.
  9. Well, I have been thinking lately. I'm always awefully willing to blow 50 or 100 bucks on tools. The shoe pursuit has brought me more towards spending more supporting teachers, book writers, etc.... So, I was thinking I need to support you guys more. The ones who know the secrets and are always helping others. I joined Nigel's Vimeo page last week and I will be purchasing some of your video classes soon. Nigel's page was totally worth 4 dollars a month for access to over 14 hours of growing content. Do I need an armor pattern, probably not, but I bet you have plenty of designs I would actually make. I have probably bought 10 diesel Punk patterns that I haven't built yet.
  10. Mike, that is really cool. I hope you do get another opportunity. The armor, like everything you share here, is spectacular. Love love LOVE it. Is there a real market for stuff like this? Or is it super niche? And, have you considered making PDF patterns for stuff? I would totally buy some of your patterns. Just food for thought.
  11. It's nice to see someone step up and ask. I see you are a guest. Maybe you can learn a good bit more here by signing up. This site has 10s of thousands of members worldwide. Everyone here is really helpful.
  12. Great do you have a pattern available for purchase? I work in construction. I won't be trying to sell them to the internet public. I can work out how to do it, but I would be very willing to pay you for use of your pattern.
  13. Question? Is it removable to place on a new tape measure later?
  14. Ouch! Well, buy once cry once. Dry it up and get to work.
  15. It was a big help. I saved your post in my phone for future reference.
  16. Now.......... I have seen everything. That is awesome. Well done.
  17. How much did that run?
  18. @WolfteverGunleather, thank you ever so much. I have to say myself, out of the wide range of leathers I have, I like smelling the cxl. But, I may have to give Essex a whiff.
