Trucker Wallet
YinTx replied to pepeunidos's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Pretty nice! How long does it take to braid a cord like that? YinTx -
I am in the area. PM sent. YinTx

Love the script "Ford" Nicely done! YinTx

There was a thread somewhere on this forum where an individual used wood stain on his leather successfully. Not sure the long term outcome. But anyhow, you wouldn't be the first to use it. YinTx

Awesome tooling, and the colors are awesome! What colors are you using? YinTx

Trap shell carrier
YinTx replied to Bakyardknives's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Or just completely flip it around so the grain faces front, and the loop goes around back.. could even just use a piece a bit longer so it is folded in half and becomes it's own liner...at least it is working well the way it is too! YinTx -

I probably have a few spools laying around if you aren't looking for a supplier. Would have to dig a bit to see what the size is if you are interested. YinTx

Lined sheath and knife
YinTx replied to Rossr's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
I was actually guessing it was the Campbell doing the work, really nice results. I'm saving my pennies and keeping my eye open for one, I think if I do much machine stitching that will be the machine to convert me. YinTx -
Lined sheath and knife

Came out superb. I don't think most will notice the stamping errors, if they do it is just proof it was hand stamped! Stitching is pretty nice, what did you use for it? YinTx -
Knife sheath and knife
YinTx replied to Rossr's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
Hahah yeah, I get kinda cranky when someone asks me to hand stitch black on black. I'm always like - if you want me to do that, why not machine stitch it??? If you can't see my handiwork, why am I doin it???!?? -
Look under the for sale section, @arbalet12, he has "stamps for sell" that are really nice, very unique, and may ship to your location. YinTx

Absolutely fantastic work. Everything to love about it: cool shape, exotic leather, awesome color scheme to match with the knife, great stitching, perfect edges, I think there may be no glory left for the rest of us! Really glad you shared this, something to aspire to in my next works. YinTx -

I'd say you more than did it justice! And that first belt... seriously thick leather looks like! Nice edges. YinTx -
@corkscrew, PM incoming. Back to your original topic, so I don't get it off track! What kind of leather are you using? I'm guessing some Tandy, and it wrinkles up on you some? YinTx
