  1. Hammer I really like this one. Wicked concept and beautiful execution. The rose pattern is swift. One question...when she is buttoned up will you still see the grip of the automatic? Thanx for sharing his one, Storm
  2. Hi Fire, Really clean and beautiful piece. I love the hair on gussets. Very cool! Did you hand stitch or use a machine? If a machine which one? Storm
  3. Nice one Ricky! I love the idea of the way you looped it on to the saddle horn. What did you use to finish it off? Thanx, Storm
  4. :wtf: Just when I thought that it could not get any better. Bamo! This is turning into one o the sweetest bikes I have seen in a long time!!! OK! OK! What's next? Ah....it maybe totally retro but a matching mud flaps might take it over the top! LOL! BEATIFUL WORK!!! STORM
  5. Thank you all for the kind words. As for Darryl! You have got to get a life Bro! HA! After I found out that they stuffed peanut butter in the palimino's mouth I switched over to Car 54 Where Are You! This is turning into retro tv night. The truth be said I was always partial to Phil Silvers in the Sgt. Bilko Show. I know...probably only Jordan and I might remember the show but it was funny. By the way anyone who ever sees a pattern I am working on and wants a copy I will gladly try to scan it and email it. Patterns are sort of like sheet music. You could have ten pianists play the same song and have it come out differently. One thing I enjoy is creating new patterns...especially figue carving. I have been working on creating some new florals bt it is not as easy as some think. Thanx again, Storm
  6. Guess I had better get an Avatar with hair. LOL!
  7. TOMMY. WHY IN THE HECH DO YOU THINK I WEAR A BASEBALL CAP. HA!
  8. It is not going to be a hat. It is a sunvisor. The Visor part which you see and the another leather head band to which it is sewn. Then an 1 1/4 buckle to finish it off. If I were going to do a full blown had I would really like to have a good sewing machine, which I do not own at this point. Storm
  9. These were a couple of test runs on some new patterns I came up with. I really like the horse.
  10. A new design for my friends 12year old daughter. With her first initial in the corner.
  11. Thanx Matt,Got to put that one on my list. Very period. Again great work and slobber slobber. HA!
  12. Hi, I would say that your approach is good. I would dye before I oiled. It might be the leather or you could try some of that liquid saddle soap with glycerine. Some people recommend applying the neats foot very generously and the use a portable hand held hair dryer and then apply once more. Hope some of this might help. Storm
  13. Matt, Very nice gun leather. It is really a keeper. The carving is great. I especially like the unique border stamp you are using on the belt It looks really period. Where in the hech did you find it. Thanx for sharing this one. Storm
  14. Tell your son ...nice job. I am really going to have to try and make one of these myself. Thanks for sharing. Storm
  15. Chris, If I might add something else. Please do not down play the clean lines and simplicity of what you created. It is primo craftsmanship. I can carve the hell out of leather but you have the gift of fabricating your idea and not just decorating something. You combine your attention to detail and throw in some good carving and they will be beating a path to your doorstep and you will find that your price will be higher than most. Storm P.S. Tommy is right! This is a freaking addiction of the best kind.
  16. Hey Josh, That case is looking very nice. Great color too! Keep up the good work! Storm
  17. Kevin, Really like this stuff. The Froggy wallet is great. Hech! It's all good!. Storm

    hi :)

Hey Tania, Good Day from the USA. There is a great group of people here and you should find it encouraging, entertaining and fun. Can't wait to see what you have done. All the best, Storm
  19. :wtf: Dude!!!!! There are people doing this sort of work that can't even touch your level of quality. This is an awesome piece. Totally Pro from the word go! I will say that I have to put a second on your comment of wanting something but not being able to afford the prices that others want you to pay. I honestly think that anyone you contacted before to do this job for you were probably only half as good as you. The bike is sweet and you have the pride of knowing you created and crafted the seat. Yes you were sucked into the vortex that is Leatherworker.net. Glad to have ya here. Storm
  20. Hey Art , Very cool idea. A lot of ladies would like this one. Nice Western theme and tons of space too. Storm

    Pedalset

Hey Tom, I second Darryl. Tell your brother no muddies shoes in the car. Perhaps you could make hime some pedal slip cover for the rain and snow day! Nice work. I bet they look great in the car. Storm
  22. Thanx Spider, The visor used to be a standard Tandy kit. They don't make it anymore but I still have the pattern for the two piece project I created years ago. As is the case with so many Tandy kits...the leather was not all that good and I used the pieces to create my own pattern. There is just the visor, the head band and an 1 1/4" buckle. This is one of my favorite designs. The Winged Skull just fits the shape. Thanx again, Storm
  23. Maybe so but knowing you, it would likely find its way into your smokers! HA! Looks like meats back on the menu boys! Storm
  24. Nice Green Man Bro! Good ork on the undercut beveling. That really makes the carving come to life. Keep it up! Storm
  25. Nice going! All the best in the new shop. We can also see that a skull can find true love. I like em! Storm
