  1. Bob, Actually Weaver got the Weaver 2050 thru Atlanta Attachment. Golden Wheel made them. They sent 40 some back because of problems. The whole thing was a real shit show for Weaver. By the way, Allen Burkholder has retire from Weaver effective July24th. On his own. glenn
  2. Damn. Never heard of that on a Landis curve needle. The Rapid E317 was considered the Cadillac of the curved needle machines since it had a hydraulic foot lift and clamp. Pics please glenn
  3. Isn't the Consew 2050 a clone of an Adler 205 where the Cowboy 4500 is a clone of the Juki 441? glenn
  4. Juki bought Nakajima about 20 plus years ago. They renamed it the DU-241H. You can get manuals for it on line or on the Juki web site. Thread will not release unless take up lever is at its highest point. glenn
  5. serial or model number? glenn
  6. Call Diamond Needle in NJ. They carry Organ needles which I have used for years. Good needles despite what some people say. Only G-B and Organ make Titanium coated needs which are fabulous. i use both and have found no difference between them. I do not use Schmetz any more because of that. glenn
  7. Schmetz has a new needle out that has bigger eyes in it. Now can sew #138 with a 21 needle!!!!
  8. Did you raise the walk of the foot when sewing thicker items? glenn
  9. Do you have a parts list to get the correct part number? You need that first. Once you have a parts number, then we can move forward. glenn
  10. Show us pic of needle next to hook. Needle system you are using? I would say needle bar is fine but hook is off in timing. glenn
  11. No Will not sew #207 very well. May if only on the top. #138 is the best thread with a #160 needle. glenn

  17. Both great machines. If you can get an original Adler , DA or genuine Juki, only better. The older German made 205 machines had only a 12" throat. The Juki 441 and clones have a 16.5" throat. DA later made a 16" throat for Weaver. The 205 is smoother and has the needle guard on the hook. The Juki 441 and clones have the bobbin winder on front. I personally have had 2 205 machines. The one now has all the toys on it but trimmers. Great machine. Whichever one you can find at the best price, get it! glenn
  18. I would contact Hoffman Brothers again and see what they have. Also contact Campbell-Boswell in Texas. They deal in a lot of types of leather machinery as well. glenn
  19. It truly is. Stand could be made so much better. Not ergo friendly in my opinion. I came up with a way to motorize a 29K or Adler 30 class on the the treadle stand that is fairly easy to do. Only part you have to remove is the metal or wooden Pittman arm. It takes using the machine on a set up to come up with a better set up. glenn
  20. i have feet for 45K23 and a couple of other models. Feet are different for these 2 45 K models glenn
  21. I have feet for 45 K machines for sale. Will be posting pics of them next week. glenn
  22. Nice job. Electrolysis on the rusty parts? glenn
  23. With the castors raising up the machine, it may be shaky. Another reason to remove the castors and replace with short fat bolts. glenn
