  1. The rust on the stand should be wire wheeled or sandblasted. You also should try Evapo Rust. Great stuff. If it was me and I rebuild these machines, I would disassemble the stand, de-rust it, get an automotive paint mixed to duplicate the color, paint it and re-assemble it. Looks great and increases the value of the whole machine. It needs a drawer and i have the plans to make one as well as a couple on the Adler stands I have, glenn
  2. Some parts will fit from one machine to other. Parts from the 335, 345, 545, 1245, 595 and 1295 are interchangeable. What parts are you looking to see will work from one machine to another. I can tell you the feet are interchangeable. glenn
  3. Contact Eli Schlabach in Aurthr Illinois. He works on them, rebuilds them and manufacturers parts for them. I think his company is Landis? Some jump in here and help me. glenn
  4. I agree Bob. Put the oil to her and let it sit. The penetrating oil will loosen up any old oil, grease, dirt. etc. glenn
  5. Constabulary, Those covers will not fit a Pfaff 345. Also, 335 Pfaff cover will not fit 345. Pfaff 335 has the bobbin on the end of the arm, glenn
  6. That is the wrong needle set screw in the machine! glenn
  7. Constabulary, Those covers will not fit a Pfaff 345. Sorry. glenn
  8. A Consew 229 is a copy of a Singer 168. The bobbin caps should be interchangeable. In the picture shown, your bobbin case tab is not in the slot on the underside of the throat plate. Yours will need the bobbin case cover. Should thread the same as a Singer 168. Hope that helps. I may have a bobbin case cover around here. glenn
  9. nice old machine!!!! glenn
  10. You are missing the slide cover. Pfaff quite making the 345 some years ago. there is a possibility that a slide plate from an Adler 269 might fit. Contact Strima in Poland. They have a web site and they carry parts for old Pfaff's. glenn
  11. buy it and get a hold of Eli Slibach in Arthur, Illinois. He is at Landis Sales i believe glenn
  12. make sure your needle system is system 81 NOT 81 x 1. glenn
  13. The price is what would determine my answer. What is he or she asking? I would consider it if price is cheap. Just my opinion. Definitely a German made shoe patcher. glenn
  14. Go onto Kwok Hing web site. They have Ffaff clone parts glenn
  15. Get someone to help you with putting machine on base> Trust me!!! glenn
  16. Needle to me looks a little off line with awl in photo. Call Eli and talk to him. glenn
  17. The new throat a plate does not look like a 335 that I have seen. I assume the new throat plate and fed dog is a generic? I would try College Sewing web site and see what those parts on there look like. Your new parts will not work. glenn
  18. Might try Miami Sewing. They are in Florida. glenn
  19. And it is missing all the knife trimming mechanisms! I have a a 111W117. The 111w116 is the same machine but does not have the automatic tension adjustment. This machine is base on the 111W153 with the hook on the left side of the needle. great machine. Mine will cut thru 10 layers of Cordura!!! Uses a 126x11 needle
  20. Not at $1,600.00! The tariffs may have raised the price of the 206RB-5 . Not sure what they are selling for now. glenn
  21. For sure, 227R-2 made in China. The 227R which i had one was made by Seiko in Japan. The 2 looks the same as the 227R except for the place it was manufactured and the color. glenn
  22. Actually, it is the Cylinder arm version of a Juki 1508. glenn
  23. This machine does not have the letter "P" in the model subclass. That is for 4 motion drop feed . This machine does not have it. Rather. it has a skip feed meaning feed goes front to back and back to front. just so you know. This feed is used a lot on binders. glenn
  24. I have looked for a 29K21 for over 35 years. No luck. Would be fun to have one. I have a 29-5 head. this was a two needle shoepatcher made from 1906-1908. The head I have has been converted back to a single needle machine. I only have the literature that Singer made it. Never found any parts list or operations manual. I am getting out of working on Singer shoepatchers this fall. Going to concentrate on Adlers, Durkopps, Claes, any anything odd. How about you? Any oddballs? I have 50 shoepatchers to rebuild counting the 13 Singers I have. glenn
  25. Yes we need to see the front of the machine to determine its model and subclass. glenn
