  1. Ole South, Have you got any pics we can see of the parts?? I certainly want to see them!!
  2. c6Farm, This machine was built in the 1920's . I have 6 Durkopp patchers to rebuild. What are you looking for? It was a close copy of a Durkopp but with some differences. I would need to see more pics of your machine. Does it have a hook? glenn
  3. That plate is wrong. The 29K 55 is a long arm not a short arm. The 29K51, 52, 53, 54 are short arms. The 29K55 and 56 are long arms. glenn
  4. German made. You have pic of the model number on the brass plate. That will help us to better advise you. glenn
  5. I would reinforce the top of the bench so there is no wiggle or movement in the machine itself. I think you will find even easier to use. glenn
  6. JB weld better to use and fix groves. Depending how deep the grove is, I sometime file the steel down just a little where the thread has cut a grove in the needle bar at the spring. Glenn
  7. It is bottom and needle feed machine. Not a walking foot. #138 thread is about the heaviest it will use. 135 x 17 needle system Size 24 about the heaviest it will handle. They say #25 in the book but not easy to find and a big needle for #138 thread. You can get parts. They are out there. may be Consew or Juki parts.
  8. Answers 1. 1295 uses the same feet as a 1245. Also same bobbin case and bobbin. 2. when you replace the Efka with a servo, get the smallest pulley you can on the servo. 45-50mm8" maximum 3. depending on the hardness of the leather, 3//8" about the most. 4. great machines. The 1295 was the best walking foot post in it's class for may years. 5. US $1,500.00 is a good price. I have a 1295 with all the toys! Yours is set up for binding! That is a honey colored one from the mid to late 1980's glenn
  9. You can get parts from Seiko or Consew that should in most cases fit. No parts from Singer.
  10. Please keep us posted as you rebuild it. Nice machines. I have had one of these. glenn
  11. Where do you get needles for this machine? Anybody know who sells them? glenn
  12. I would also try the clones for the 1341. Those caps should work. glenn
  13. There has to be a way to move the left saddle for the hook. Take the left hook out and send us a few close ups of the left saddle. glenn
  14. Machines that fit the bill: Older machine Adler 205 and clones Juki 441 and clones Cowboy 3200 Artisan 3200 need more specifics thread size, arm length,
  15. Let me check. The red paint does not look cool in my opinion. I will check this weekend. Too busy today. glenn
  16. You also need a drip pan unless you plan to get oil on your knees while stitching. glenn
  17. Looks like a narrow throat champion needle and awl stitcher.
