  1. Harbor Freight has a similar one. As long as you have a cutting table big enough probably work great. https://www.harborfreight.com/24-inch-clamp-and-cut-edge-guide-66126.html
  2. @Rockoboy thank you btw. Lol Here are some better shots of the bags. https://etsy.me/2SfLYLk
  3. Yes it’s an outside pocket on the big one inside pocket on the small one. Not lined.
  4. Looks good! The sleeves look about right for me. Lol
  5. I agree. I have 3 benches. Cutting, and anything I hit with a mallet. A dye booth. And a a glue and assembly bench. Keeps cross contamination to a minimum. Lol
  6. Made a couple tote bags for my Etsy and a wallet for my mom. The wallet is Fiebings Saddle Tan applied with an airbrush 3oz. Stitched with .8 Ritza thread. The tote bags are 5/6oz Tandy leather that I left natural. Brass and Copper burr rivets.
  7. Any water based dye should be fine. Idk what is readily available in UK.
  8. You can dye and burnish the edge. Fiebings mahogany or burgundy dye both Mach well with there burgundy bridle. Don’t even really need to use water to get a good burnish. Also can stamp it. Stamps great can’t carve or tool it really.
  9. I concur. It will stretch and become loose if you don’t add stitch lines right up tight to the gun.
  10. There are quite a few videos on YouTube that show how people do edge paint. Also if you haven’t tried it yet use the search function on this site and it should bring up a bunch of posts on edge paint. Don’t burnish smooth before you paint though the leather needs a “tooth” for the paint to grip to.
  11. I’d say cut to deep. Immiketoo has a video titled. Cut shallower bevel deeper or something along that line.
  12. Nope. I was looking to see if it was Lacquer based. If so sounds like Neat Lac. You could call Weaver and ask them if it’s water or Lacquer based. That be where I’d start.
  13. Most either dye or antique edges. Either way it depend on the look you are going for. Personally I would dye for a uniform edge color. Don Gonzales has a good video on doing his belts. Actually a few each focused on different areas of work.
  14. Never used one but I think it’s way to hot. I would cut temp way down and experiment on scrap.
  15. .8 thread and cheap amazon chisels at 6 spi. It’s much more pronounced in the pic than looking at it.
  16. A single layer stitched belt with skulls and a backgrounder for a guy at work.
  17. That is epic. Just perfection! Enough said.
  18. @Dwight emailed one he drew up. With instructions on how to assemble as it was my third holster and slightly different construction than a “simple” pancake style.
  19. I have the BK setters and use the with Tandy snaps. Set and work great.
  20. My Harbor Freight drill press is running at its slowest speed. It’s the small bench top one. It works just fine with a 1.5 inch burnisher. When I use it. Mostly just use canvas and water now because rarely do I use leather thicker than 5oz.
  21. They are Tandy Pro chisels I think it is 7spi. https://www.tandyleather.com/en/product/craftool-fine-diamond-chisel-3-5-mm these are the ones I use mostly.
  22. It has a screen and a few filters to catch particles. Basically trying to vent the fumes. It’s a weird room off the master bedroom with no door. Lol Wife has got used to me banging around running drill press and belt sander at 5am on the weekends.
