  1. beautiful work there indeed. i like that elk motif and how you tied in the basket weave
  2. i keep my leather in the boxes they were shipped in. first thing i do when i open them is to smell.
  3. just looking at the top pic it appears your tension issue is in the three holes in that piece of metal you have run your thread through, it is tight even before it reaches the tension discs. Are you sure it is threaded right? I would try it running through just one of the holes.

  15. a very cool approach to the problem, that design rocks!!
  16. use a square piece of wood or flat on two sides put the leather tube on it like a sock and apply the glue to the sides and slide it into your quiver and apply pressure to set the glue on each side.
  17. make one tube out of very thin leather about 1/3 rd the size of the quiver then place it in the center and sew it at the top in two places equal distance from each side to create three equal spaces and at the bottom before sewing up the bottom. or maybe easier would be to glue it in and stitch the the top.
  18. I've got this idea. Take a button sew it on in the top center of your leather piece. then use a regular rubber hair tie and loop it around the button go around the braid then loop that end over the button again. it would fit any size braid. Or maybe two buttons one each where you placed the snap then use the rubber tie around both. Crap now I gotta make one! https://www.amazon.com/Goody-Womens-Elastic-Hair-Ties/dp/B005CSYUQA/ref=asc_df_B005CSYUQA?tag=bngsmtphsnus-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80814222102129&hvnetw=s&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584413749535816&th=1
