  1. it looks the same to me but.... All races have sewn with sinew just at different times in history and i doubt 21st century native Americans have the experience their ancestors did or a secret place they buy the stuff for resale lol but i get what your saying.
  2. that is cool, I'm sure they are a god send back there where there are a lot of people. My folks rode the old narrow gauge train from Durango to Silverton one time they made me drive the car lol i was only 15 then and only had a learners permit.
  3. that did make a nice tool board my friend. now you'll have more time to work instead of looking for tools lol.
  4. i would love to take ride on a passenger train some day, that would be so cool just to sit and ride and watch the world go by.
  5. the ruger speed six was built as a service weapon style revolver, and pretty popular until semi autos took over the roll. the double loop design provides for two carrying styles, straight up to carry on the side or with a cant so you can carry it further back on the belt. very cool design IMO.
  6. i made one similar out of a good quality putty knife then upgraded a bit and made a better model when i found i like the shape
  7. 45 /410? wicked mean wish i had the extra dough for one of those critters.
  8. thank you. I've always used it as an emergency pack gun or to get a blue grouse now and then while bow hunting never really thought about carrying it in town to much until lately. Life has changed. thanks! Thanks !!
  9. i like that!! rough out so it holds netter in your pocket?
  10. i see 14 pages of products most with drawings, at 300 bucks a purse i would need to see actual photos. Are you intending to make that many products? That seems like a lot for a small business. is it for a small business? I saw some typos also no big deal to change Its a good start!!! I'll peruse it a bit more tomorrow.
  11. Oh yea and with the fly wheel on this thing it wouldn't stop at the fender lol. A guy could build a line shaft say at the back of a table and power multiple tools.
  12. i know they allow videos in the show off section don't know why yours wouldn't be ok. or maybe in the critic section if you want more input.
  13. other people have, usually if its in the wrong place then the mods just move it to the right place. Lets see your stuff!
  14. Amen to that brother!! they will make you squeal like a lil piggy.
  15. stripped it down this morning It has a lot of good parts, nice rollers and bearing, speakers, 2 hp motor.
  16. Thanks !! i used the pattern for my Buck 110 knife sheath to start with, all i had to do was widen it a bit your NAA might fit it well.
  17. they make the bow oven using regular incandescent light bulbs in a basic wooden box with a very simple thermostat setup but the problem here is getting incandescent bulbs lol.
  18. Frodo you might be able to pull off a half round blade, I'm with Bruce on the size, or use the plane blade sideways and weld on a piece for the handle.
  19. `The old saying, one is none and two are one. I've attached them several ways depending on the type of sling build and look wanted. if using Chicago screws i use Loctite and the eraser trick. they do come loose as you said.
  20. i was dinking around yesterday and decided to make a holster for my lil gun. lol its not much to look at but it was fun. this is made from scraps and is a first try, i may make some changes and rebuild it. most folks wouldn't admit to owning one let alone carrying it , Sedco 22 lr, but I have carried this thing a thousand miles in the boonies it fits a nice little pocket in my hunting pack.. Its kind of a family joke being called my Bear gun.
  21. oh yea the old ones are still highly sought after here in the states a well built split cane rod is so nice to cast. Most folks dont think about the time it would take to split and match each section of the rod. I was thinking about an epoxy product used in making bows https://binghamprojects.com/store/smooth-epoxy-glue/ it is heat activated 150 -180 degrees which shouldn't be to hot, i would think. A lot of folks have a bucket list. My bucket is all about learning new things, making both a recurve bow and fishing rod are on it.
  22. yup the whole shebang. i'll be taking it apart tomorrow morning.
