I'm certainly not a commercial belt maker and have only made a handful of belts but I use a very small piece of sponge about the size of a finger nail folded in half squeezed together by a wooden clothespin. I found the wool daubers get too messy but this one I just toss the sponge away when I'm done. Works pretty well for me.

Fortunately, my kids have grown so its just the two of us but yea, its not cheaper and I get insulted by the grocers shrinkflation methods. Funny how they blamed increased fuel prices for increased food prices but when oil came down the food prices sure didn't. And now since the oil empires are cutting production to prop up their failing country you can sure expect our own grocers to follow suit.

I'd hang that in my office!

Of course the trade off will be an increase in the price of the beef down the road.

I like this idea, too, and i think I am gonna 'steal it' for a patch for a plain ball cap I have. Kind of like a secret handshake! -
To add, I found the barrel size to be a consideration. I have a 1/4"? size from BK that I don't enjoy using as much as my original Tandy 3/8"?. I also have an old school Tandy 1/2" (or maybe it's 3/4"?) barrel and although I like the heft, the barrel size is too big for me. And I found a set of swivel knife blades from a garage sale that included two ceramic blades. Those are amazing and have been enjoying using those the most.

Really like the lace work on those cuffs.

Thank you for the close up picture. It really helped me alot to see the details. Great work.

I made a heart shaped version for my daughter, too. I stamped a paw print on the one side in honor of a good friend crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years back. Turned out pretty nicely, though I don't have a picture of it. And yes, a great way to run through the scrap bin.

I thought the Craft Tools that start with 'Z' were part of the starter kits. No? Was thinking if that was so you may have to start hitting garage/estate sales. just a thought.

Thank you, @YinTx

Kind of thinking the same...

Hi @Ckim. I see you're a new member. Welcome to the board. But as an FYI, that posting was from 2017. Wouldn't hold your breath.

The videos are kind of funny; it documents how they find really weird places to record where they find a camping space, sometimes in a parking lot, sometimes in the woods between highways,. Just really crazy. cheers!

Wonder if it can be compared to stealth camping
