Thanks , it has grown on me but like I say it is not the best use of material . I guess a person could make something similar but with symmetrical curves for the pattern so as to flip and not waste much .

Like I said I think it is nice but more important the reason you did it ! I will suspect that you may be a tad stressed about your friend , so let this just slide off your back . I'd like to see some more so post away !

and it is nothing special except I did this one a good while back ( one of my first ) . My daughter had a local maker do a knife for me and because I had told her I was about to start messing with some leather , she didn't require a sheath with it . I look at it with some pride but mostly sadness as the knife maker who had been a lifelong friend has since left this world . He did great blacksmithing work and would help anybody any time !!! I sure do miss that ole boy . any way I have improved a little since this one , not much maybe but some

@fredk @chuck123wapati Weeeeeell , here it is . i will say that I butchered the small feet and maybe other things . Small work with the swivel knife ain't my wheelhouse . cut and tooled light oil

Thank you Sir . The scenes have already crossed my mind but I have a ways to go before I can do small stuff that would fit on a coaster . I would appreciate knowing about the software for the future . I am gonna leave the painting to you Sir , I do love to look at your work !!

Thank you !! The shape came about from a piece of scrap I did something on and when done , I liked it . I worked with square and round & plumb all my life so I guess this might be how I rebel It's not really the best use of material though .

I use a 2" for everything , I didn't realize that there might be different sizes as far as cut width . Learn something new everyday if I pay attention !
