    Well different strokes for different folks I guess ........ I like it better than the way it was . I have been on some forums that offer a few choices as to skins , backgrounds, and such .

    Great idea ! If one was going to make it , shouldn't be much more to fitting a taper collet on the receiving end . Might be too bulky though ?

    I am with Bruce Johnson on this . Some aren't made with as much tallow as others ( drier ) and need a little oil to help them embed .

    What DieselTech said . Take a scrap piece of leather and lightly moisten with water , then rub the glycerine on , now rub with canvas . The longer you rub the smoother it gets See if this is what you are after .

    When I was just out of high school I worked in a furniture factory . Between 50 or 60 sewing machines and operators , there wasn't 10 who knew how to do anything to their machine , just called one of the mechanics . You were a good neighbor
