  1. I think you are using way too small of needle for 135/138 thread. With 135/138 thread I believe you need to be using a size 22 or 23 needle size.

Nice work. Looks nice. Is that a concho or actual shotgun shell base?
  3. I would look into the kinedyne hm-750SL Model.
  4. Looks nice. I say you did a swell job. Love the sunflowers.
  5. You might call them, & they might be able to order it for you. I think every 4 months they order new stock/ out of stock leathers.
  6. Check Rocky Mountain leather supply
  7. Slickbald customs has a bunch of different patterns. There is a ton of different guys to get patterns from. You can also buy Blue Gun molds of the particular firearms you want to make holsters for. I would strictly stay with veg-tan on making holsters. Couple guys on here got formulas for making holsters.
  8. Looks nice. Great work. I know you could probably market it on Etsy. Your bag pattern & carving pattern.
  9. Look into the Tandy Lil buckaroo saddle. It is a pattern that tandy had for a scale down saddle. Might be perfect for your wooden horse.
  10. I'm thinking the small lever changes the thickness of cut you want to make on your leather. Might not want to get real crazy when giving it new life. Might be worth more in it's natural state.
  11. Nice work. It really looks nice. I think the Concho's really accent the whole rig.
  12. Canvas works good for slicking leather.
  13. You buying one? Lmao I heard they are cheap!!! Yeah I been following some of these machines on hightex channel. When your machine needs a air assisted needle cooler you are moving some material. Smoking Thread!
  14. I would get some 3.5mm x .6mm thread pitch screws & try them. If they don't fit, buy a 3.5mm x .6mm pitch tap & re-thread them.
  15. Look good. Nice work.
  16. I been meaning to make a pair of snake gaiters for when out metal detecting in the woods. I was going to use some 12+oz real elephant hide, I heard & have read it is the most puncture resistant of any other leathers. As far as a pattern, I was going to use some heavy poster board to come up with a pattern.
  17. Nice work. It looks great.
  18. Looks nice. Great work.
  19. I am going to say it is pebbled calfskin, like the RMG Pomari. This is a 3oz leather. Or something like a shrunken calfskin. The shrunken calfskin is too heavy at 6oz so it would need to be split down to 2-3oz leather.
  20. I know you said your Keychain is working out OK. But for a flat low profile fastner. Look into Glove Snaps.
  21. I have been buying my poly sewing machine thread thru Thread Exchange. Seemed like good prices to me.
  22. Nice work. Looks great. What did or what is your handle/strap made from?
  23. Looks nice. Great work!
  24. I did get around to beveling the top edge & got it painted. Since it is a heat able edge paint I might hit it with my heated edge machine later tonight. Looks alot better now I think.
