  1. I do mine just like Bob and never had one that didn't fit. I keep waiting for JLS to tell us his inspired method instead of talking about what others do wrong. Share your method Jeff so we can all do it 'right.' Cheryl
  2. I've never used a tandy pattern but to be sure I'd call them. Also if 1/4" is gonna make a difference in fit I don't think I'd make it Cheryl
  3. I adore the dancing skeletons and the bright colors in this. Cheryl
  4. Well shucky durn.....next you'll be using antique and quit calling people who don't do things your way idiots. 100.00 though for 2 knives you'e not gonna use? Some how I can't fathom that.
  5. Cappy that is really awesome. Thanks for sharing. Cheryl
  6. Victor I've made guitar straps that I wrinkled on purpose. I don't know how long your leather is though. You can make distressed pouches, and like you said wallets, bracelets, anything you can make with smooth leather. Cheryl
  7. 9.00 plus shipping is a bit pricey. Maybe you'll get it on ebay.
  8. I wondered why you objected to your own signature because I saw your urls with the name in it. But it was obviously just to advertise. What a cutesy ploy. BTW I didn't go to thee urls because I realized they were yours. You can contact admin for advertising........Cheryl
  9. Angelus sells a reptile conditioner. I bought a bottle for 5 bucks. Cheryl
  10. Windrider I'm glad you got an answer. Cheryl
  11. Zulu you didn't say anything. And I shouldn't have either. If people want to think theey know everything there is to know, it's none of my business.
  12. Hi Tall. Could you let us know how it turns out for you? I placed some guitar straps at our only music store free and didn't sell a one. And I placed 3 dog collars at the vets and same thing. I grabbed the collars after a year and 1/2 and took them to the farmers market with me and sold one the second week. Neither one were charging a consignment fee but that doesn't matter much if nothing is selling. I hope you have great luck with this. Please let us know. Cheryl
  13. You ask a question on here and you get mostly help and then a joker (sometimes more) that tells you, 'I taint never needed no rounded knife so taint no one needs no rounded knife. ' and scoffs at you for even asking. I remember when this use to happen to me when I was new and I wonder why some people are allowed to continually scoff at questions and treat real answers with disdain. I hope you found your answer in among all the noise and cruel jokes. Cheryl
  14. I've used belly for both the dog collars I made my girl. She's around 60 lbs and quite a puller because she wants to go everywhere fast. It was one of the first projects I made so I had to replace the first one because of mistakes I made, but not stretching. The second one is python, belly and Italian leather liner and it's really a sturdy beauty! Cheryl
  15. Yeah I just meant I would have passed on making it. I think it makes the collar look trashy but the customer is always right I guess
  16. I make my belts and dog collars, etc out of the belly which they put a straight edge on. Makes using a strap cutter easier. I use the ones from Springfield Leather Company and haven't had a problem with stretching etc. using the firm parts. Cheryl
  17. Hi Memory, an unusual concept for a collar. I like it a lot except for the spikes. I refuse to use them but it's a matter of preference. Cheryl

Cheryl
