For setting spots it works very well, we have one in our shop and use it everyday. How ever we also use a Heritage foot press that is easier as it has more room underneath to get the work under it..

For the most part the machine runs pretty well but it is a learning curve to set it up to run correctly. If you have the manual read it over and over. I need to put new belt,s on my machine as they slip when I put some old stiff harness through it but it does split evenly.. The stones need to be adjusted correctly to sharpen the blade correctly..

Ordered From Wickett & Craig ... Got The Runaround!
Itch replied to RoosterShooter's topic in Suppliers
Ordered 20 hides for Holster work received in about a week.. -
I make holsters like this all the time, looking at the above photo,s the only thing that I would suggest is to carry your stitch line under the laser part in to the center a bit . This would allow the fire arm to bottom out on your stitch line..

Difficulty With Snaps In Thick Leather.
Itch replied to Mark Moss's topic in Hardware and Accessories
Have you ever tried wetting the leather where you want to put the snap. I have done this on occasion and it did help a lot. -
We set a lot of spots and I have never seen a machine that will set spots that close to each other.
