  2. Grattis Tina! Fan vad kul att det finns nå'n som är med som svensk representent! Thank you Johanna for the report, wonderful news! Tom
  3. THAT IS PERFECTION MY FRIEND!!!!!! The colouring is perfect too, please tell me it is full scale? Tom
  4. IT looks very nice and it's a bit "flamey" in the dyeing but I really prefer it that way and so do my non leatherworker friends here in Sweden when checking with them. They say it gives more character as a handicrafted item and I agree. Me too wanna see inside! Tom
  5. I agree with Spider, that sleek design does look good. Love that character! Tom
  6. Elegant stuff and, Oohh that's some sweet edges by the look of the photos. Tom
  7. Thank you Mholzer! That one is simple to make though you have got to have time to sit down for a while with it. I was just thinking about heavy shit, like horror movies and saw tooth blades and it struck me (I think) how similar to oceanwaves those are so I just drew up a sawtoothblade border but it's actually representing waves. Transferred it to leather and carved it. Next up I tooled with checker backgrounder craftool8802 where it could reach and finished of all of backgrounding with backgrounder A104 from craftool. That was also a lot of time, lol. About backgrounding, when doing extensive backgrounding you do with very few exceptions have to use them, in some way. I've said this before, look up my Motörhead bracer to look at one of those border exceptions. It just felt so done without border. So gimme some more stuff to look at, I like the frog, really! Tom
  8. Oh David, at first I thought not so much but then slowly it sinks in, that is is quite a extraordinaire design there. I'm contionously amazed by the stuff posted and this is some of that. This design is veray elaborate! Did you create it?? If so big congrat to you!! BTW, I'm not sober so hope I don't wake up tomorrow seeing this is just two lines and a sucker pucng lettering, lol!! Maybe better hit the sack and,,kkffriiwwql sobeor up! Tom
  9. I'm sure you'll get your questions anwered here. Some stuff you relly gotta work out your own method for but with tips from here you won't be trailing to far off so ask away 'bout anything. Really nice people and atmosphere and you will find this board to be somewhat addictive. Ohh and watch out for the donuts! Tom
  10. Nicely tooled and very good looking classical crossbone skull and nice clean colour choice fits really well. I'd liked a border for this design, it'll lift it real good. Maybe some edgebraiding? I keep nagging 'bout borders, lol. I think of the leather as a canvas that we put our best into and just like a good piece of painting requires a matching frame and fore more complex motifs a frame or border is a good way to keep a composition together and sometime's border can be toyed with to let the design pop out in more funny ways. I attach a sample from my metal diva bootstrap. All in all, very nice frog! Tom
  11. Dammit guys, those koi seats look so good and this ones no exception. The motif seem to be very well brought out on such a black seat. Well done. Tom
  12. That's some sweet and well done wristbands, I like the eyelet ones alot but ironcross and the indian style one are really nice too. Nice designs and welcome to the board! Tom
  13. Tuts are always fun and of course of good use. Good finding! Tom
  14. I'm all with you about dyeing, lots of guessing and trying to get it going. The rod tube I posted a while ago actually came out a lot darker and not really like planned but got lucky and got an even nicer result. Looking forward to see your old school seat, will you be testing out the airbrush with it? Tom
  15. Very beautiful stuff! Hubby won't be able to shoot straight 'cuz he'll have one eye on the stock. Tom
  16. Looking very good, nice work with backgrounding. A bit dark on the overall look but maybe this was the intention. See you got some decorativ braiding going on there, very nice. Tom
  17. Fantastic piece of bag! Tom
  18. Awsome Larry! You must have a fetish for backgrounding, lol. So do I even if not used much last few projects. I like the way you put the horsehead, it's a bit irritates the eye just enough but do not disturb it (eyecatcher). A good way to create attention and open the mind to explore the rest of all the beautiful stuff. Way cool and you sure earned your piece. I know that feeling about never get any goodies for one self. Tom
  19. That looks really nice, I especially liked how you themed it with the colours and framing it nicely with the red border. Tom
  20. Your welcome Freak! Just like to tell you I got years of sore neck from tooling bracers and had a long break (about three years) from it, doing some occasional stuff to entertain muscle memory and came back to leather last fall. I have been ok last couple of years but learned to listen to the bodily signals so I know when I'm sitting in one position to long and then I switch working position or type of work, like bag present tooling for tomorrow and maybe go blend some colours for the project instead, that way I can maintain the workflow. Keep yourself safe so I can see more cool stuff from you! Tom
  21. You're just so full of surprises and alot of multitalent! Amazing mask and nice airbrushing! Tom
  22. That is really nice Kevin! I really love those old tattoo style birds and waiting for the day when I get to tool one. Davis has used them a bit too. Overall apperance of this wallet is top notch as usual. Tom
  23. This must be a new version of the one I commented with those mountains. This one really rocks, if I were into guns I would want one. Tom
  24. TomSwede

    new masks

Hey, that's a nice dragon. I can imagine it to look really well in a stilistic type paintjob aswell as realistic paint. The rose mask look good also. Tom
  25. Nice patterns and lovely hardware, that bracer will make even an ugly guy shine (like me, lol) Tom
