Hello All, The pattern listed by bikermutt07 is a good basic pattern to use. Once you get the pattern down you can easily alter it to be more personal for you. The measurements are the standard measurement I've found over the time I've been making things.

Hello All, I have been able to contact someone at Tannery Row and I have placed orders before. You all are right and have valid points. I ordered about 9 or so Horween Russets well over 17 weeks ago and they just came. The best place to try to score Dublin from will be Mavericks Leather. I order all of my Horween through them. Some of it will have small issues but for the price you can't get anything better. I would call Mavericks first to see if they have any. It goes fast!

I have a lawyer that works with me and he is good with the patent things. He holds several and as long as yours is different than the individual claiming infringement you're ok. If you use a wider size and fewer or more conchos you have a different product.

I would be interested in one of your awls as well in the darker color in the first post. Please keep me in mind when you make more.

Will you eventually carry more colors in the edge paint other than the two you have listed? Also, will the two sources of thread be the only thread you will be carrying? I've been searching for linen thread other than the Chinois and it's hard to find a vendor for any.

Ok, I'm new to the trade. This is my first small wallet project. It's made from Designer Belly leather and lined in pig leather. This wallet is all hand done from cutting to stitching.

Just to add my two cents here. I'm a new member as well and I've found it easier to use paper mock ups first of any idea I have. I look at something and try to get some what of a basic dimension of what I want. I draw everything out on paper to get all the details like zipper position, stitching lines, folds and pockets etc.. I then figure what leather will work best for what the project calls for. I bought a huge roll of contractors paper from home depot (about 8-12 bucks depending on paper weight) and it's been my best friend. I use clips or mini clothes pins to hold my mock ups together. If you want you can message me and I can show you a few examples of how I do my templates from drawings.

Hello All, I'm new to the craft and I've found that using the chisels works for me for now. I've had no problems with getting my lines straight and hole to line up with out glue. Here is one of my first projects and I think it turned out pretty good. The key it taking your time I think.
