  2. I remember reading about someone's exploits with Neatsfoot oil and wax, but unfortunately my age is preventing me from pinpointing it for you.
  3. Check Craigslist. I know that the Austin CL has had a few Singers for sale. I am not sure if you are willing to travel to pick it up.

  5. Just a couple of questions? Did you shake the cans before using? Also, if the cans were stored and may have been frozen that may have caused some issues. If they are gone...what a loss.......that stuff is liquid gold.
  6. I will have to check to see if I have a large BK Basket weave.
  7. I keep a coaster size piece of sheep wool and lightly buff my leather after dyeing it. I have always found residue after dyeing is dry. It is not a chore, but just a step in the process. I also buff after the final coat of Tan Kote/Bag Kote. It is a beautiful thing to see the shine. Good luck

  10. I use nothing but Fiebings spirit and oil dyes. I have never had a bleeding issue after I learned to buff after each coat.

  12. Try buffing after each coat before repeating the application. Though multiple coats of black oil is interesting......I would just buy black drum dyed leather and save the money from buying dyes.
