Hi Chuck, Looks like you are getting a good start. Love the thing you have going with the skull. For someone starting out that is not too bad at all. I might suggest getting Al Stohlmans books on Figure Carving but I guess the foremost thing is to practice and practice some more. There , at the top you will see Johanna's piece called " Instruction sheet from introductory leather class by John Henry" Nothing like the basics. Also just explore through the site and you are going to find a whole lot of talented people. They've been were you are right now and you can learn alot from them.
