  1. Will not sew anything bigger than #207 on top only. The smallest needle you can use with #138 thread is #22/140. I prefer to use #23 or #24 with #138 thread depending on what I am sewing,. The machine is jamming - could be timing, bobbin case opener set wrong or the slot on the underside of the the throat plate that the finger from the bobbin case may not be deep enough to give you the proper clearance for the thread to clear it as it goes around the hook. If that is the case, the slot on the throat plate has to be made deeper to accommodate the #138 thread. I have deepen that slot on a few machines!! glenn
  2. the 50616, ss418, 82833 no longer available. I have a replacement for the 50616 bolt. glenn
  3. No service manual for 269 sorry. glenn
  4. also check the spring i in the needle bar above the needle clamp, Machine sews good but a lot of slack in the needle thread as it enters the leather you were sewing, Spring may have a grove worn in it or be broken. glenn
  5. Bobbin case opener needs adjustment. Check your timing on the machine as well. The reverse feed is out of adjustment and has to be corrected so that it is the same as the front. Sevice manual will tell you how to do that. I will check to see if I have a 169 manual. Never saw one for a 269. glenn
  6. Consew 206 uses Singer feet. A lot of feet are available. glenn
  7. they do not put them on hook anymore. My suggestion is a drop of oil on the gib after every bobbin change. that will work. Used it in production for 7 years. glenn
  8. Spray the needle with silicon spray and see if that helps glenn
  9. shut machine off. Unthread both needle and bobbin. see if the pedal is sticking. pics or video of it running glenn
  10. I would check the specs on the Juki. I do not think a1541 can sew 1/2" thick material. I have a 1508 and it struggles with 1/2" thick material. I think you will need two machines. The Cowboy 3200 might be your second machine. It sews heavy leather up to 5/8" glenn
  11. Titanium coated needles cuts down on the glue sticking to the needle! glenn
  12. Weronika, Ok A hook is available on Amazon for the 11-3. However, I think it is for the large bobbin. You may have to take your hook out and see about getting it rebuilt. The key is to find out why the bobbin is coming out of the bobbin case. I suspect the locking mechanism for the shuttle in the hook is either worn or broke. There has to be mechanist that can fix it in your area. Machine will not sew with out it. glenn
  13. Either that machine is a 11-17 or the 11-22.
  14. 11 parts hard to find. College Sewing? You need a new hook and Presser foot. glenn
  15. One thing nobody has talked about is what Nomex and Kevlar thread do to all the parts in the thread path. It wears thru steel. Know that going in for parts replacement, i.e. feed dog, hook. throat plate , take up lever, all the thread guides, take up spring!! glenn
  16. I believe all three machines are made in the same factory in China. All three companies are good to deal with and Steve, Bob and Raphael are great people. All give great service. To me it comes down to price and the shipping costs. Just my 2 cents. Whoever you choose, they will give you great results!! glenn
  17. Contact Diamond Needle in NJ. They might be able to help. glenn
  18. Take the large spool of thread OFF the spool pin. It puts too much tension on the needle thread as it unwinds. You need a thread stand behind the machine and a fine hole in the spool pin to act as a thread guide. common mistake made by a lot of people with this machine. You will have a very hard time finding the small screw for the shuttle carrier. No longer made and the newer screws are different threads. hole in shuttle carrier needs to be welded up and re-bored. glenn
  19. pics of the machine? glenn
  20. Yep. Everything is slower to get right now. I have that machine. Nice. make sure you get all three manuals-parts, operations and engineers or service manual. glenn
  21. Wont be cheap. I estimate at least $1,000.00US. I upgraded a few of the 767 motor where I retired from in 2017. Each was $1,000.00 plus. Just so you know./ glenn
  22. The only way to tell would be from an older Pfaff parts list. I am not sure what all was changed. glenn
  23. N means newer model. Juki did that with the 563N as well. glenn
  24. nice!!!!! glenn
