  1. I really like them, not sure they would be big enough for my dice collection, been gaming for 30+ years & have amassed a fair number
  2. As long as it suits your working ways should be fine. I am in a similar position, the space I have is 3x4m I plan on a long workbench along one length with storage behind me, under the bench will be a tool box on wheels to pull out as I need, and some form of leather storage what I am still trying to nail is the height of the bench, what did you opt for?
  3. Very nice, what type of fastener is that?
  4. Thanks Northmount & SamB
  5. In which case I would call JT Batchelor in London, the don’t have a web site as such but they are really helpful chaps, a massive range in all prices i saw some nice brown veg tan when I was last there in lots of weights tel 02072542962
  6. What part of the UK are you in / happy to travel to?
  7. If it’s only a small area can you hand stitch using the existing holes?
  8. You can get handbag inserts or handbag organisers, (search those terms on Amazon for examples) down side is it may not be the same size as the bag and the pockets may not be in the same place. upside you can just move the organiser to a new bag or different bag to suit.
  9. Another option to busmuth could be diving ballast, I have used that to make paper weights, and is available in many sizes & quantities
  10. If you are in the US then have a look at DG Leather Craft as he sells some material packs, as I am in the UK I have no experience of them but could be worth a look
  11. One of these may help https://kemovancraft.com/products/leather-belt-punching-hole-positioning-ruler-assist-mark-hole-position-keep-all-the-holes-in-one-line
  12. Maybe Cricut access it’s different in the US, OP will no doubt look into it
  13. Yes you have to pay for their designs, no you don’t have to pay for the software & it can be run offline. you can do your own drawings on any free software, such as Inkscape and then import in to the Cricut software. I agree that a “must be online option” is a pain, which is why I don’t like the glowforge system but it’s not required for the Cricut
  14. Only the very old models that are not sold any more use this method the maker or explore machines are pc / app driven, you have to use the Cricut software but can get any image in to the software
  15. I have one & its great for what it is, yes it will cut matboard but the blade is straight down so you wont get a bevel. I have cut leather up to 2mm thick & 11inch wide, - handy for doing tricky filigree work I use the engrave function to score out small areas for tooling as my tracing skill is "limited" I have a maker 2 model which is slightly slower & has a slightly reduced width on vinyl products to cut. I use the engrave function on copper foil for accents in leather projects. For solely use in leather craft it is limited, but if you do other craft too (card, fabric, vinyl) then its a great little tool
  16. For solvents could you use a glass spatula as found in chemistry labs & hi end kitchens?
  17. Yes the Cricut works well on leather up to 2mm think, but only up to 11" wide You can also use the engrave tip to mark out an outline for then tooling

  20. Must of just been the one I looked at as I don’t use much I tend to use JT Batchelor & go in person to their store in London. let us know your thoughts if you give GH a try.
  21. Never used them, I notice that the have a minimum order of 3 skins, so that could be why they are cheaper
  22. Odd, I have the prusa mk3 with a smooth bed, bed set at 60 degrees, clean with ipa never had an issue with sticking & never used glue stick. I have put it in a case though so that may make a difference?
  23. I think some of it is down to local rules on chemicals, process, working with hazardous processing and environmental legislation.
  24. Fredk maybe you just concussed it?
