  1. Welcome aboard, lot of friendly and talented folks on this forum, I am also a knife collector, mainly factory made folders. There is a lot of info to be had here for the asking. Rodney
  2. Which book is it and what will it take to buy it?
  3. Neats foot oil works as well as anything I have used, put on several light coats, don’t soak it or it can’t soak it all up!
  4. This posting started out as political, politicians banning the use of fur in California, I came back from Vietnam to the idiots in California cussing and spitting on soldiers that had been serving their country, so I have a bit of bitterness for the state of California and some of the people who reside there! So if you live in California and support their ideas and politics more power to you but I fought for the freedom of speech and had friends die for our freedoms so I believe I will speak about what I want when I want and certainly no one from California is going to prevent me from doing so!
  5. I have heard for years that someday California will fall off into the ocean, maybe it’s that time and hopefully take all the liberals with it!
  6. If you are the copyright holder, get an attorney take it to court. Enforce it, if you are not going to do that then forget about it. Complaining about it to the world won’t help the problem, won’t solve anything, won’t do anything but make you more bitter, and probably hurt your business because people could usually care less to hear about your problems, they usually have more serious things in their own lives to worry about than somebody else’s petty complaints
  7. Particle, I’ll bet you are the only one to ever use a Stohlman pattern or design! LOL. I figure if someone doesn’t want there design copied, or their pattern used or similar they better copyright it. They put the info out there for the world to see, tell them exactly how they made it in detail including a video then bitch like hell if someone copies it. What do they expect to happen. Some people just like to complain.

  9. Very nice, Wish I could do that guess it’s like anything else you just need to take the time to learn how and practice! Anyway it looks fantastic.
  10. OK thanks for getting back to me, I will give that some thought. Rodney "rhale47 at icloud dot com"

    Wichita Falls leather show

Anyone going to the boot and saddle maker show in Wichita Falls, Tx the 1st weekend in October? I went last year and it was really good for a smaller show. Lots of vendors with lots of products.
  14. How much on each and what is the other machine and splitter? Thanks
  15. Anyone going to Wichita Falls show needing some older craftool USA stamps? I have about a hundred duplicates I will be taking to sell or trade, $3 to $4 a piece all in good shape.
  16. I would like to know what other machines you have, I live about 200 miles from you so if anything was bought I could easily pick up. Thanks Rodney
  17. Check out Barry King, excellent high quality stamps
  18. Wow, an intern that will be proud of that for many years to come!
  19. Beautiful, and with two of the toughest hides in existence in my opinion
  20. Great looking holster! The elephant hide will outlast the gun, toughest hide I know of other than maybe shark.
  21. I own a3200 cowboy which I really like, it will sew up to 5/8” thick, mine is set up to sew down to about 6 oz. but it could be set up to sew a little thinner from what I understand. Contact Toledo sewing or solar leather both are on thin forum. I have bought from both they are good people.
  22. In your profile you said you wanted to learn making holsters for revolvers and knife sheaths, why not get a machine heavy enough to do those also? I would recommend a cobra, cowboy or techsew they are all basically the same machines.
