  1. From the oval shaped part of the foot treadle it's a Durkopp. The parts on the top line are Durkopp as well. Mine is sitting about ten feet from me right now. God bless
  2. Any idea on a supplier for that zipper lock gizmo? Pretty neat! Did anyone else think, 'Handgun case'? God bless
  3. Oh, yes. He uses Weaver and gets the good price, which he passes on to me. He also helped with wheel making suppliers from within the community. Good prices! God bless
  4. All my Weaver catalog does for me now is show what parts are out there, somewhere. I got the same reception as others, disdain would be too good a word. We have an Amish harness maker within half an hour, so use his supply chain. He doesn't charge any more than his cost and freight and sometimes shows us the invoice to make sure we get the right stuff. So, to Weaver, suck it..... God bless, Mike
  5. Why not build one out of your great Australian hardwoods? They take a high polish and you can just drill and taper the hole sizes you need.
  6. Also used by an Amish harness maker in Albany, Wisconsin to make hidden stitch grooves on patent leather bridles, blinkers and Scotch collars... it was fun to watch and then try, on a hidden part. God bless
  7. If you click around you can find some of the books yet.
  8. Kiwican, Now it's your turn to make a kiwi purse.... little feet, nose and tail from zipper.... God bless
  9. Very cool! I wonder if you can fill the eyes with something like nylon mesh or some screen. Color it red or whatever color his eyes are and it adds to the illusion. Kind of like the Spiderman mask eyes..... Nice work!!
  10. Stewart, I was just wondering about you last night, hadn't seen any carvings. Glad you are okay. Lures, kids and Ol' Paint.... I used to gather up squirrel tails and sell them to Mepp's and get their spinner lures.....good grief, 1962 is a long time back. Thanks for the memories. God bless
  11. Hmmmmmm An Orange Cat looking for something that squeaks :)) Here mousie, mousie !
  12. Here's a face mask fabricating video, for our guys with 3-D printers:
  13. Hi, Did you figure how to post photos? I'd like a look at some of the older conchos if you have them left. <mikerock@mhtc.net> God bless Argyle, WI
  14. Puts a nice meaning on 'to crown' someone!

    Just a Bass head

About a four pounder! Good catch. God bless
  16. Grandparents delight! Now to incorporate a little train whistle.......remotely controlled. Drive the kid crazy but you can find him in the crowd of laughing people.
  17. "Anyhow, what I've gleaned is that the DMT diamond stones have an uneven distribution of diamond sizes, which leaves random large gouges in the knife bevel." Years ago at the SHOT Show in Vegas I told the DMT guy that I just rubbed two of their stones face to face to get rid of high diamonds and he said that was a great answer to the high diamond problem. I bought the kit of three 2x6 inch stones a did the two finer ones on the coarse (Red) one.....problem solved on all three stones at once. It doesn't knock the life down at all. I have a 15 year old stone right here on the desk and it still works, every day. God bless
  18. That's an itty bitty monkey for sure!
  19. Try leading one side down first, by a 1/16" or so. That way the cutting pressure is spread out. Then bring the other end down to the same depth. As said, casing might help.
  20. Well, Rats! Does anyone else out here have bobbins and that silly little screw? God bless
  21. Uwe, I see a pile of little parts.... I need the screw that holds the bobbin carrier in place, and bobbins. Needles too, but Constabulary posted a source there. This machine worked fine until I diddled around and lost the screw. I should have just let oil dribble in but thought I'd keep the area clear if I took out the carrier.... The bobbin shown does not fit, by a smidgen. The little cup shaped thing I think is not related, or is it? Yes, those are rifle cases and a nice buffalo robe. And the wooden flat table that fits on the arm. Thank you, and God bless.
  22. Nice! You are having way too much fun :)) God bless
  23. Put a blanket smoothly on top and bottom and run over it with your car.
  24. Unfortunately their 'kit' link says nothing is available now. God bless
  25. Looks like your adjusting lever top is broken off too. Same as mine. Does anyone have any spares for this American splitter? Top two screws adjust roller spacing. The bottom square headed ones are for tension.
