  1. Lady bug lady bug fly away home!!! I love it!!
  2. I don't think you get the choice of who to compete with anymore so i price stuff as i see fit. Just yesterday i saw on my wifes FB page leather cc holsters popping up for about 20 bucks each because i searched them. I cant compete with them at all. Its plain however we now also compete with an algorithm, hundreds in fact, that uses in most cases fake bots and fake likes on social media to push its implied sales and quality.
  3. i think its pretty much just what the person making the decision wants to make.no matter if filling a niche market or saving money on production. When i design a product i make it like i want it i can add the cost of liners or not but maybe I don't want it lined just that simple IMO.
  4. aren't they invasive in Florida? go catch some.
  5. lol one of you two are lost.
  6. out of this world cool!! You folks are true artists in leather.
  7. lol here are a couple more for your artistic genius. I have no doubts of your ability.
  8. i had that once but antibiotics cleared it right up. i like bugsies.
  9. wonderful job it looks better than original !! I have three in three different drawers lol one was broken i made a new blade and added curly maple scales and even made one of those pancake style sheathes for it. One of my daily carries is a small old timer lock blade it stays in a belt buckle sheath i made. Then a three blade Case Stockman in my pocket.
  10. i was going to suggest asking a barber or hair stylist. how.
  11. and that is why leather is so much harder to cut when laying flat on a surface it applies drag through direct pressure on the side of the blade. Pick up a piece and cut it you will find the job much easier to do.
  12. i love it!! i knew you would come up with something no one else would think of.
  13. beautiful!! That'll hold your britches up!!
  14. i see the best seat in the house lol. Nice view from up there i'll bet.
  15. the video is spot on, i will say though they are stropping the blade after the edge has been established, or in essence keeping it sharp. You still need to create the edge before you can proceed to this step. Rough stones create the edge then the edge gets polished finer like they are doing to the point you are satisfied.
  16. i like that rich dark color and light thread combo. Looks really sharp.
  17. thank you! sometimes we do go two, sometimes five lol. you could walk that road for a hundred and not hit a town. It is so quiet calm and fresh in the morning your brain just goes blank and any problems just float away as you walk along.
  18. rightsy tightsy leftsy loosy the video shows you trying to turn the wrong direction to take out a standard screw.
  19. nice hot Belgium waffles strawberries and whipped cream sound good to me!! i bought the store , kroger. brand it is about the only one here, it doesn't have all the spices names so I think I'll be testing out some homemade blends if i can find some on the net. its is a spicy blend which i really like but i cant reproduce it without all the info. if you can get Anaheim green chilis, they are very mild and make an excellent tasting mildly spicy green chili, i posted a recipe above somewhere.
  20. sweet!!!! hope you had a good Easter as well. lol its a chuck roast or steak here too, tough suckers unless cooked right. I have to say i studied on the curry powder and got my curiosity up so I bought some curry powder the other day and just made a bacon, onion, and cheese fritata???? with it. I used about a teaspoon of curry powder in it, everyone loved it!! That is some tasty spice mix. You can teach an old dog new tricks but getting him to remember....
  21. yup exactly the kind and it works fine as is. i would cut it down but i use it for other stuff as well, even picking ice once in a while lol.
