if there was i think it would be on shelves everywhere and on every hide tanning blog ever written. sorry no majic solution i have ever heard of turn on some good tunes open a beer and get to work i have found a lot of needless work goes into the process while the hide is still to wet for the breaking. If you do find one though let me know i have three elk hides and two deer in the salt right now.

why would you want to? it would make it uncomfortable imo our bods aren't perfect in shape so the leather conforms instead.

heres how i get around the belt no belt problem. The back flap will stick in your waistband or even your pocket, the snap allows you to take it off or put it on without taking off your belt too. Use two layers on the flap to make it stiff. -

Any person with a functioning brain cell would realize that is free and very good advertising for them. i wouldn't call that brain fart "evolving" lol. -
Boot Last Stand

nice indeed!!! -
be sure you make it so you can throw the tote and keep the pistol. Make the pocket on the outside and to the body for what ever hand your customer needs. My daughter bought a cc purse but had no idea how they work. She had no idea that they are made so you can throw the purse or hand it over to distract while pulling the iron. And as said really good straps.

i have a belt that was made longer by slicing the one piece down the center about two inches and skived to 0 then skiving the other piece on both sides again to 0 to create a tapered tongue. the tongue was glued inside the split and sewn.

i think your stitch line is pretty good, if you straighten the edge it will be less noticeable but you see more of the mistakes that others wont notice. -

you might try some cactus juice stabilizing resin, I've never tried it on skin or hide but it sure works on wood. If it does work all your problems are solved that's some tuff stuff. i've made a few sets of grips for the 1911 and my advise try and keep them close to original thickness meaning you may have to sand down the wood to allow for the thickness of whatever skin you use. its weird but the hand can feel the extra few mils. i may try some on leather when i get home again.

crossdraw sheath
chuck123wapati replied to chuck123wapati's topic in Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes
i glued it to the outer piece of the sheath then glued and sewed on the border through everything, i think the next one i will run the border piece all the way around the belt loops also.
