  1. @1hp, I tried to download the engineers manual. It incremented the download count but I didn't get anything. I didn't know where the problem was. Jim
  2. I don't know either. Just take it as a compliment. It is a NICE wallet! JM2C, Jim
  3. I can't speak for everyone but I know that I'm a "work in progress". Keep trying to improve. JM2C, Jim
  4. About two years ago I ordered a CB4500 with a table attachment. The table is still in the cardboard, so I don't think I'm much help. I do like my CB4500, though. JM2C, Jim
  5. Maybe Clayton Moore but not Bass Reeves. I too am a firm believer in the "suntan method". JM2C, Jim
  6. I'm no saddle maker but I would assume that there is. I have read about makers using the flank area to cover the swells because of the stretchiness. Please bear in mind that I'm just repeating what I read. I wonder if you might be better off posting this question in the saddles and tack area of the forum. JM2C, Jim
  7. @rvacindy. It doesn't look like Rustyj58 has been on the forum since 2019. You might try "The Art of Making Leather Cases Vol. 1" by Al Stohlman. Tandy sells it. Others probably do too. He has one in there called a travelling secretary that is similar. The real value is that it gives you ideas and fundamentals. You'll be making and modifying your own patterns before long. The patten for that one shouldn't be difficult once you have the measurements of the composition book(maybe there is a standard size?) and the features you want inside. https://tandyleather.com/products/the-art-of-making-leather-cases?variant=31977098772611 JM2C, Jim Here is a couple pictures of one I did for a JRCA fundraiser that fits a steno pad. Yeah, I know my work isn't "top shelf". My photography isn't much either.
  8. Oops. I saw the title and thought Bon Jovi or Whitesnake. Nice work, though.
  9. Well, of course it does!
  10. @Mulein89, OP hasn't been on here for a while (2011). This is what Yahoo found for me. https://ppolinks.com/forestservicemuseum/2016_56_7 Decker Saddle.pdf JM2C, Jim
  11. @Tim Schroeder, How did I miss this? Your work is beautiful! As has been stated. I wish I was half that good. Jim
  12. I'd float my stick in the same direction as Fredk. As usual, JM2C. Jim
  13. I'm not fluent (in much of anything) but this website sounds like they have a "Procreate" for Android. JM2C, Jim https://www.appconner.com/app-procreate?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=809_afcapp_kw_tis0.1_harry_240319&utm_term=procreate&utm_content=kw2552_procreate#google_vignette
  14. If I understand the instructions and the pictures right, the picture is half a pattern. I think if you double it, you'll have your pattern. I'm pretty sure the circumference of my wrist and forearm wouldn't fit on a 8.5" x 11" page. JM2C, Jim
  15. @rodneyv, You might try here. https://tolindsewmach.com/thread.html You need to call Bob to order. A bit old fashioned but I like that. JM2C, Jim
  16. Makers Leather sell Kimberly brand. I think Amazon has them too. JM2C, Jim
  17. I have used weldwood red/black and like it but still prefer Barges Yellow/Red. JM2C, Jim
  18. Great to hear! Thanks for the endorsement.
  19. Pictures? Prices?
  20. Get a Cowboy 4500 instead. They look great in the dining room!
  21. I just checked. He does. https://www.barrykingtools.com/finishingproducts.htm
  22. Howdy from Oklahoma.
  23. This has kinda been the overall impression I've had in the past several years too. JM2C, Jim

I like it! It's a lot bigger than I first thought. Nice bag.
