  1. Found it. Thanks for explaining where it is.
  2. I don't see any of that on my screen. All i see is fast reply and simlar topics in brown bars. Maybe because i use Fire Fox it's not there.
  3. Nice work.
  4. Me neither.
  5. I have used JB Weld to do the same thing your asking about and it worked great. I have a edger that i'm going to use JB Weld on because the handle keeps coming off. I put the JB weld in the hadle and stick the blade back in and leave it alone for a little while and their good as new. I got mine at a auto parts store but most hardware stores should have it.
  6. Only thing about putting loops on is that your going to need several belts for different size bullets. I don't think a 44 mag. would fit in a 357 mag or what ever size bullet their using. Just a though.
  7. Steel is lots better you can sharpen it. Ceramic is a joke IMO. I bough one several years ago and wasn't worth having when it was brand new and i never had any luck trying to get it sharp either.
  8. If you start next to the buckle going down the length of what ever your sewing you can't get real close. But going back up the other side you can sew pretty close to the buckle. Trick is to make sure you enough of a lap so that it is secure. Not sure of that makes sense or not, if it doesn't i try to take a couple of pictures tomorrow.
  9. Springfield Leather has a club i think that you can join and get it cheaper. Haveing one for every size is best. You can punch 1 inch straps with a 1 1/5 punch but it won't round all the way back like one the right size would. The end will will be round but they look a little funny and you need to make sure you have it in the center or you will have a lop sided end.
  10. You can make a petal lifter out a screw driver or a awl. Cut the end off and and grind or sand a bevel on it. Strop it and your ready to go. try lifting on a scrap piece it's easy.
  11. Just though a petal lifter might work. What about dry bushing some silver or gray highlights if it has to be black.
  12. I've never tried a bullet hole. Maybe if you really bevel the edges down and then do the same thing inside where the hole is. Might work might not. The one you have done looks pretty neat to me. If you were to shoot it your going to have round hole nothing like what your going for.
  13. It's really hard to tell much about what you have built. Most of the pictures are blurry and need to be retook, if you can resize them that would help to.
  14. Nice job Spinner !! Go for the purse ideal, after all your where the money is. All you need to do is sell one to a rich person / movie star and your set.
  15. If you can get thinner made for glue it might take the old glue off. Of if it's not bad you may be able to leave it. Do you have a picture of the tree ?
  16. Nice job !!
  17. I haven't used any of Tandy's dye. But from i hear it's a water based dye. Get a little bit out and use a little water and see if that helps. The other thing you can do is use acryclic paints and mix to the color you want. Just guessing i would say their a lot cheaper than the Tandy dye. I like your eagle design.
  18. I use the post office boxes. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't understand why you would want to buy boxes when you can get them for free.
  19. My suggestion is save the 1500.00 / 2000.00 and get a machine that you know will work and have dealer support if you need it. Down the road if you want to sell it you can get most of money back. If you buy that one you may have a machine you need to sell plus save up the 1500.00 / 200.00 again to get something that will do what you want.
  20. Nice design on your seat ! Here's a link on how to air brush. http://www.howtoairbrush.com/ Their are lots more if you search learn to air brush. Plus their lots of videos on you tube.
  21. Sounds like they want check lines to drive with rather than reins. Yes you will have to splice them to get a 12 foot length. I generally make a lap splice about 4 inches long and sew them togeather.
  22. The ends hanging out the top make it where the purse can be closed with a piece of velcro. You can make your own patterns theirs nothing to it make a front back and the sides any size / shape you want. Poster board, file folders, cold drink / beer cartons 20 to 24 can size are great. I rough out my patterns and use a vary form curve to clean the lines up. http://www.usa-dealer.net/Fairgate-12-112-Vary-Form-Curve-12_p_2187.html Put a center line on your pattern and make one side cut it fold it over and make the other side of your pattern.
  23. I cut the pattern out and it worked for me. Not sure why you would want to make the sides any bigger after i cut the pattern out. If she fills it halfway the pattern size is it's going to weight a ton.
  24. Nice work !!
