  1. Most users do not need to view high res photos as they are using phones or monitors that can't display at high res. It is also a favour to users on limited bandwidth connections as it can take several minutes to hours to download high res photos. Some helps and suggestions are located in this thread. There are many more helps and file re-sizers on the web. 800 pixels or 1024 pixels are great for display here. You can post many photos in a post if you re-size to these limits.
  2. Is it with or without the fleece? Makes a lot of difference in how you would use it. Seems to be some confusion about what it really is.
  3. @SBrown Perhaps you could provide an update as to whether the splitter is still available or not. You have some people interested but don't seem to respond to them. If I don't see a response soon, I will lock this thread and move it to old/sold. People posting items for sale need to follow their post and keep it up to date when there are queries about it.
  4. Setup your own stream. Here is one that looks for all new content in the past 7 days. Adjust the selections under Following. You can follow areas, members, or content items I follow. Save your 'stream'. Reach out to @Johanna to see if she can fix your notifications. She has for others.
  5. Everyone will want to see photos of your machine, 1 from each side, also under table. You may need to resize your photos to fit the restrictions here.
  6. @stevoo Moved your post to leather sewing machines. This is where the machine guys hang out and you are much more likely to find help here.
  7. @Broncsnapper moved your post to saddle construction.
  8. 135x16 is a leather point needle, not a size. 135x17 is for sewing fabrics, not a size. These are needle systems designations. It relates to the type of point, and length of the needle. Take a look at this needle chart that lists needle and thread sizes.
  9. Moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines. You'll get more help here as this is where the machine guys hang out.
  10. Testing your settings. Did you receive a notification for this post?
  11. This works for me. Maybe you need to check the box for "send me news and information" to get on the mailing list. Not sure why your selections don't work. If adding this check box doesn't work, we'll have to get @Johanna to look at it. Also at the bottom of the screen, you can set "notify me of replies" if it isn't already set before you submit any post.
  12. We stole a spot and put a trailer out there. Connected into his water and septic tank systems. Great place to stay, no competition with campers, quiet, get to listen to the birds and woodpeckers. A gurgling creek nearby.
  13. Lots of people worldwide, and even in "rich" North America live on the fringes of the internet so have very limited connection speeds. If your business depends on people that live in those areas (middle of Kansas, mountainous areas, sparsely populated areas) then you really need to consider their connection speeds. Will they wait 5 minutes for a page to download before they give up? I have a nephew that moved to an acreage in a semi-rural area of Kansas and his work depended on having an internet connection. No such luck, no cable connections available. This is something people should pay attention to when they are moving to a new location. My son got caught similarly a few years ago. Nice acreage, beautiful location, great price. Couldn't even get a telephone land line because all the pairs in the buried cable were all in use. To get cell service, had to put a cell booster and antenna on the top of his house. Even at that he was very limited. He is now on Starlink and has very good internet, very stable, great speeds. Cell service hasn't improved. They aren't too likely to build a cell tower to pick up a handful of clients!
  14. Moved your post to leather sewing machines.
  15. Moved your post to business and estate sales. Please read the Marketplace Rules. Need an asking price in US$. List of equipment, tools, etc. You could split it into groups with separate posts so you have more control and can more easily keep track of what is sold and what is not. Separate posts may be better than business and estate sales.
  16. @TheCoutureShop I split your post off of the condolences to Gregg, so you have a new thread instead of contaminating the previous thread as it really doesn't belong there.
  17. Nice job. Like your portable arrangement. What's the motor speed?
  18. Please post them for future reference.
  19. Thread is locked due to straying too far into politics.
  20. There are a number of helps here. There are lots more helps on the web, both online and off line tools to resize your photos. Above photos were resized to 800 x 600 pixels. As you can see, that is adequate. Hires photos don't display on most monitors, tablets and phones in hires. They are all scaled down to fit. It also helps the people on the fringes of the web that have low download speeds. Doesn't take hours to download.
  21. Some people don't follow their posts, so you need to either quote a part of their post (or all of it) or tag them like this @Tacticalleather. To do this, type the @ symbol followed by the username and pick the name from the popup list. Tactical leather hasn't been on this site since April 24.
  22. You were in sewing which could be anything dealing with sewing, most often saddle stitching and such.
