  3. Resize and post here. Lots of members aren't to thrilled with having to join or use social media type stuff. Maybe we're just too stffy!
  4. Don't know why you would post this in the adult section! Moved it to suppliers.

As Uwe says, price required. Show pics of the other end of the machine and the whole thing including table too! Indicate if you will ship, pack, whatever.
  6. Generally you would post in for sale rather than wanted when you are attempting to sell something. I have moved your post to Marketplace > Items For Sale > Machinery -- Cutting/Leatherworking > Used You now need to conform to the marketplace rules. Post the price in USD, photos and a link to your video here as part of your ad. Describe any repairs and the condition of the complete machine.

  8. Please remember to provide the English translation too. Thanks
  9. Please post your photos here! This is part of the rules for the marketplace.
  10. @CoronaLeather As stated above, please, please upload here to maintain the integrity of this thread when you decide to move or otherwise change your google drive access.
  11. @smithjonnn moved your post as per your request.
  12. If the leather is in that poor a condition, I wouldn't use it. Interfacing for textiles works on leather. Would use the heavier ones. Test the temperature you need to iron on some scrap so you are sure it works the way you want.
  13. Moved your post to Marketplace Items For Sale Machinery -- Sewing and Stitching New and Refurbished to Like New Please read the market place rules and conform. https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/70-announcements/ You need photos and much more information. Where are you located, maybe on Mars? This is a world wide forum, not just your local swap meet. Shipping included? Will you ship ...
  14. Pictures might help us see what the problem is. Are they tearing along your stitch line or just everywhere? Some lambskin is really soft. I snagged my jacket sleeve on the door handle one day and had a tear. Was able to glue a patch in so it was barely noticeable. Had to know where it was to see it. If it is tearing along the seam, take longer stitch length. You can also use iron on interfacing to reinforce it.

I am from Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China. I am a fan of handmade leather products and antique leather machinery. I have a singer 17-1, a singer 34kvs5 and a Fortuna v50s. Like to refurbish and repair machines. I want to find singer 119-2, anyone who owns this machine can contact me, thank you!

@BabutuHabiba You should start a new thread in the section "Leather Sewing Machines". This thread is in the Marketplace area and should have been archived long ago (2014) . I am locking this thread and archiving it now.
  20. Please post your photos here. 3rd party hosting often results in photos disappearing due to hosts changing policies, or users moving, deleting, etc. If your photo are too large, reduce the file size. There are lots of suggestions as to how you can reduce file sizes here. 800x600 pixels is adequate for most. 1024x768 is a bit better. Either of these will allow you to post many photos. It is also a favour to users on the fringes of good internet access. They don't have to wait an hour or so for a couple large photos to download before they can view the post. Please refer to this thread to find several pieces of software or web based utilities to help you.

  22. I'd take the bobbin case out and make sure there is no thread trapped in it. Also examine the hook basket and make sure there isn't any threads trapped in or under it. You do know there are 2 screws on the bobbin case, 1 for tension, the other to hold the end of the curved tension plate to the basket. If you mix them up, and tighten the tension screw instead, you will have loads of bottom tension. Can you easily pull the bobbin thread through the the tension spring with the bobbin and bobbin case in your hand? If not, the problem is right there in you hand. If easy to pull, it's not the tension adjustment. @Wizcrafts should be along soon to give you much better help than I can.
