  1. @OldRedMule Moved your post to Saddle Identification, Restoration & Repair. You should get more response here. Have you searched through this area? Tom
  2. Looks to be a heavily built machine compared to many. Try contacting https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Product-Service/Jason-Systems-391906050959698/ Sees to be quite a few ads on the internet, from about 2016 and up. So doesn't seem to be a big seller. Tom
  3. Do you have a manual for your machine? There have been posts here about balancing the forward and reverse stitch lengths on some machines. Try a google search "site:leatherworker.net balance forward and reverse stitch length" without the quotes. You may need to adjust the search parameters by including your machine mfg and model. Tom
  4. @Jay6040 Have you read this post? Tom
  5. @Vladinard Moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines. Have you done a search for info here? Try a google search "site:leatherworker.net Junker & Ruh SD28" without the quotes and you will find several posts that reference them. Tom

  12. I've seen some comments here about using deglaser to remove at least the surface oils and waxes. Another experiment for you? Tom
  13. If you set a permanent security cert exception, then all logins go right through with no warning. I'm still seeing it this morning. This is all part of the same problem. Tom
  14. I use a couple that sit on my table with the large holes. I group my tools and put like tools together. Tom
  15. It is being worked on. The hosting site was supposed to automatically update the security certificate, but it didn't, and of course it happens on the weekend when there is even less support. Tom
  16. Don't try using in a powered portable drill! Can wrap things up in a hurry! For powered use, use it in a drill press, and what ever material you are cutting should be clamped down securely. Tom
  17. The hosting service was supposed to automatically replace the certificate, but failed to. And it's a weekend with little or no support! Always the way it goes, right? Tom
  18. Have you tried a search? Found a few threads that should interest you. Do a google search "site:leatherworker.net baseball glove" without the quotes. Tom
  19. You are replying to a post that is from 2013. Doubt it is applicable anymore. If you are looking for contract work, maybe you should begin a new post with all the particulars. If you join the forum, you can use other areas to post in and not have to wait for moderator's approval. All posts in Help Wanted require approval. Tom
  20. There are several posts about burnishers using induction motors. Do a google search "site:leatherworker.net burnisher motor" without the quotes. Tom
  21. Moved your post from Help Wanted (which requires every post to be approved by a moderator) to Wanted (under marketplace). Tom
  22. @ScrapMonkey Moved your post to leather sewing machines. More sewing machine activity here. You may even find your answers in this forum as there have been many discussions about servo motor settings. Tom
  23. Try a google search like this "site:leatherworker.net video making holsters" without the quotes. You can modify the search string "video making holsters" to any parameters you wish. Google has huge search engines with billions of pages indexed. Faster and better searches than LW can do. Tom
