  1. Hey Rocky, must be nice to get free shhtuff from folks that want you to test it out. I have to order everything and pay premium price to get it. if I had the tools I’d be making parts for my 4500, I’m sure there are folks that have ability but don’t know how to sell the part they make. I’m still trying to figure out how to use the holster plate! I have made holsters by hand and machine and my daughter thought I needed one, at the moment it’s a dust collector.

  3. I ordered some replacements from a supplier, I asked if it was possible to just get the wheel part, it was costly but the ones tandy supplied got damaged with time. The rubber part allowed die to get under it and made it lumpy. I think it was SLC I found edge rollers and asked if they could send just the wheel part i was surprised to find a full metal piece, a little sanding on the spindle to fit and I was good to go it will use anything I pour into the reservoir

  8. About 15 years ago I was in Tandy Leather and decided to purchase Tandy’s leather edge roller. It was fine for the first couple of weeks of use. I found that if the wheel was left to sit in the die, it would get under the rubber and make a lump that never went away - even if you dried and cleaned it! I also experienced the nibs the roller got a bit wider as time went on and made it harder for the wheel to turn. I found a metal fabricator that would build one out stainless steel. It fits great and will possibly work better that the plastic original one
