The Hawaiians have a mythological creature that goes inline with the Gremlins and Trolls, they are called Menehune‘s. I was talking with a guy about it and asked if he has ever seen one, of course he said “no!” Then I asked him how he knew they existed? He said “did you lift up the bark on a fallen tree and see the etchings?” I replied “we all have!” He came quickly with “who do you think put them there?” I was thinking of making a loin cloth/tool belt and sending it fo him. But I have no idea big a Menehune is!

looking for GOOD men's acrylic wallet templates
Doc Reaper replied to DaveP's topic in Patterns and Templates
I went that route for about three purchases and then decided to go with a Harbir fright pneumatic hydraulic bearing press, and buy clicker dies, there are an awful lot of criminals out there, Sandy at Int die was one of them. They are now closed and trust is completely gone. I purchased an Acrylic wallet set and it cost way too much for what I got! be careful as all hell -
Lack of Prozac

Are ya selling any of em, send me a picture PM please
-
So harsh, you have folks all around you that are within 2 hours drive time. If I was selling three items I’d have a post for each machine with pictures from all directions, and a full explanation of each, it would work better and no mistakes in communication. Now put on your big boy pants - post those pics - and sell those machines! If you are looking for a sale of all machines by the next day it ain’t gonna happen! Not even on eBay, or Craigslist! Unless you are a scammer - reread what you have posted - it says scammer when you have no pictures but want us strangers to trust you at your word

I have hat bands made for .45s, .357 mag/38 special, 22s and 12 gauge shells. To bust up the weight I use things like sharks teeth, Decorative stone, and an occasional film canister but the finger is a nice touch (would send a nice message to daughter’s boyfriends) there is a company that charges a premium price for ammo holders that fits thin belts or hat bands

My apologies, my head only saw 130 - the 70s were good to me

Go back and look at your figures, at $516 per item is a bit excessive

Thoughts on the Cowboy 4500
Doc Reaper replied to Silerleatherworks's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
I have a Cowboy 4500, a narrow needle plate and I actually a size 19 needle, it’s awesome! It will sew anything I want to build! But if you are making a wallet that is China thin then switch to a medium to light duty machine like a 1541 type model Making biker wallets it can be done on th CB4500 along with aprons, purses and other items. GET THE COWBOY 4500 -
Ok, I have never used that side stitch. I keep all stitching in-line and if that one or two threads becomes severed, it all unravels. Go thru the first hole, then thru the second, the. Come back up thur the first hole and continue on down. That side stitch is just aesthetics, it really doesn’t do anything other than give it some certain style that probably the men in GQ probably would like to see on their belts. To me it’s just a wasted stitch!

Rocky Aussie, I have the narrow set, but I’m wondering if you make a flat plate that fits the CB 4500? I want to use Uwe’s in-line pressure foot without changing everything back and forth

Lately Tandy has put warnings with their chisels that they are not for punching holes, I believe that you can read it on their web pages. There has been tongs breaking off
-
Y’all should post close up pictures of these items, I only have stitching chisels also do not use what Tandy has, Tandy employees will tell you that it’s only for marking the holes
-
Tandy is not what I picture when I think of good quality, I’ll bet when held in hand the buckle guy has a better feel to it. I go after feel the hardware gives to the hand, if it feels as light as a feather it won’t hold up as a working strap. But in the same breath if you are using it as a hair product or for a hat then feather weight is good

Make a grip out of that dental shhtuff

What size punch or what tool would you use for this?
Doc Reaper replied to jcwoman's topic in How Do I Do That?
Just to make sure we are on the same page, I have increased the view to see why you are having problems first the shoulder needs to be tapered second is that punch appears in need of some sharpening, I see what looks like a messed up edge. Both of those will cause problems and make sure you are using a thick chunk of leather over your board. It helps keep your punch in working order! I can see what it needs, and it’s not a bad idea to get a new punch, I’m sure I Most folks have multiple hole punches
