The reason the boats are sitting in the harbor is because of politicians! Gavin Newsome is the son in law of Nancy Pelosi, she and her friends need to be sent to the gallows or firing squads

They were trying to keep the price down, plus the turn around time was almost comparable to a Walmart purchase

I see folks here using black markers, I use a roller to apply edges, it leaves a clean line and not as messy as a dauber. The edge rollers do require cleaning but I’m good with it. if the back is to marked use a paint roller (not soaking) to cover up the untidy looks

Sandy finally came thru, after 10 weeks, the first order was made was 3/4 (as was the 2nd, 3rd, and possibly the 4th). She finally told me that she had run out of 3/4, after 9 weeks and then she decided to use 1-1/4 inch after seeing how screwed up my orders were. After seeing the difference between the two sizes I told Sandy that for the extra few dollars she should of steered me towards the 1-1/4 size, this was on Tuesday Dec 14, now I can return the incorrect items that were sent in the beginning. I have never used wallet dies, it’s always been by hand because I was understanding that dies were out of my reach financially. Now I see a wallet set can be had within my means, it will help me speed up the process a bit. Knowing that hand cutting will never be fully retired, the dies will help the over used hand tendons get a break from gripping a blade.

A lot of guys make a wall rack with the PVC as a core to wrap the around. Some use the rug hanging system and leave it hanging like a curtain. Me, like most, roll it and store it in a shelf. I have no idea which way is correct or best. how should the skins be stored???

RICHARD WALKER - Industrial Sewing Machine Man

Bob and son have never done me wrong, I have purchased a 4500 and I’m pleased with his company! -
Starting out I would use a table spoon, it was in the drawer with knives and forks and was rarely used. It had an aesthetically pleasing arch so I tried it and it became a tool for shaping strap ends
-
You just need an extra metal plate to replace the clover shaped piece, I have also drilled a hole to hold other tools, and put a longer handle on it for more pressure
-
I ordered 4 different die’s, they got one correct! The first two were completely wrong - she saw my 2nd order was not sent - the third order was for 2 units but it was also screwed up. Excuses don’t mean a thing if ya aren’t upfront with folks from the beginning. If you don’t have the material do not take the money until it’s in hand

Have you tried ‘‘em in the last 3 months? I’m having a hell of a time, I don’t see how they stay open
-
Have you tried them lately? How long did it take to get them???
-
I’m in the USA, this order was submitted Nov 23, it was unloaded from the ship on Dec 4th (12 days) and I’m guessing it will take another 2 weeks to get here in NC. I like the pre woke days when it just took about 12 to 14 days to get here! Gov Newsome stop trying to hurt our economy

I have a shop in a busy area, so I get my fair share of dreamers. Because the overpriced blue guns I tell my customers that I’ll be needing their iron(s) for 2 to 3 weeks and half down! Most say I should purchase a blue gun to make more than one holster, in which I reply “for a gun I’m never going to see two of? How bout I charge you fo the extra cost?” Most start singing the blues most guys say that they need their weapons at all times, but then I send em to Walmart on a wild goose hunt -
PS I have a 4500, I’m glad that it came with a price tag that was under $3000. 5 years ago I purchased one from cowboy Bob. In those past 5 years I have added the larger table, the smaller table, a drop down guide, various sized needles and thread. I changed out the flywheel Chinese bearings to better USA made bearings, and an LED light. With this new Dr rsmaller needle hole I should be able to do a-n-y-t-h-I-n-g I want. just don’t ask me to sew anything double knit, that process was made by demons

Howdy all, it’s all about the money when it comes to the USPS and somehow The post office has hired on most of the slackers and they are allowed to breed at will, making more slackers and Bidenites. The Cowboy 4500 was/ has a lower cost if you can find some dealer having a sale, if I see one I’ll give ya a shout

I’m trying to give them every chance to get their shit in one bag, out of four orders they got one right, three of those orders were completely wrong, I have made multiple calls and no return call as of yet! Do not get dies from International Die, they are in Clarksville GA.

Leather hats
Doc Reaper replied to Trikegator's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
What I’m asking is info on either an Aussie or fedora, do I need to add to compensate for where the brim meets the bottom of the stack? Is there a way to make the oval hole in the brim piece that matches the circumference of my head -
Leather hats
Doc Reaper replied to Trikegator's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
I just have a couple of simple questions 1 - how do you size a hat, and is there a formula to use to transfer to the material so I cut it right???? 2) - how do I know that the hat will fit? -
I purchased a machine that had a servo motor but it was way to fast even set at a low speed. I went on Amazon and found a speed reducer for $100 USD, and then measured around both pulleys (stay on outside edge of pulleys, don’t let tape measure fall into belt grooves, it’s easy) then I purchased the 2 belts need from an automotive store. It really isn’t difficult, just take your time and have a friend help. YouTube is a great source of info

Doc Reaper replied to Smithi's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
I have had bad experiences with anything made in china, ask anyone outside of china about the quality items that come from china, there will be a few positive remarks! just about everything i have had that was made in china was poorly made! My advice is to shy away from things made in China - even the spies -
So what’s the smallest needle you use????
