  1. Holster before dye on left after dye and finish on right.
  2. Yes that's exactly what I'm saying to do. let it dry somewhat on the mold with air movement like a fan you don't need heat just the fan then remove the mold let it dry some more then revisit the mold once more make sure it's good don't wet again just put the mold in dry.
  3. I've made a lot of things. Wet mold then let it dry, then dye and let that dry, then wipe it real good with a cloth, then three or four light finish coats, this has never failed me, its all the drying time things must be very dry before the next step so if you have a lot of work you can set things aside while you work on something else. And all I just said is just my opinion, because it works for me. Hope it helps you.
  4. Those are some good thoughts Chuck cant say I've ever herd of a gardenian LOL are they from the Gardenieae tribe. Anyway this morning I made a wonderful French press coffee with toast butter and molasses that coffee aroma stayed all day. First name came to mind for me was Dion O' Banion .

  7. After work I would put some of my chickens in the garden, have a cigar and a glass of brandy then just sit and relax for an hour or so. The stress of being self employed . Beautiful Barred Rock chickens a very calm breed.

  22. Curves that are not tangent to the rad make me nut's but that's just me .
  23. I use poster paper same as your card stock I would guess I put the ruler on it use a knife against the edge of the ruler cut about half way through fold it divide by half the with of what I'm making cut that off then draw the curve cut that off lay it on the paper draw the outline and done maybe 1 min and it's perfect . For the cutting I use a head knife and depending on how sharp a turn I may use a pattern head knife they make the cutting very fast and accurate .
  24. My son is a cad computer guy he also uses a computer for curves buy the time he makes the curve adjustments and all that crap I have already cut the leather LOL
