  1. Very nice, I like the swivel base. I am going to have to make one similar with that feature on it. Thanks for posting it. David
  2. Chaps came out very nice. Bob thanks for the tip on the zippers and the clarification. I could just see the little old ladies faces at Joann's when I went in looking for left and right handed zippers. David

  15. Good job, like the tooling and the color. Looks good David
  16. I like to use a rotary knife with the metal corked back ruler. Like they said above don't try to cut all the way through on the first pass let the knife do the work. I have also found with shears that the heavier leather tries to pull when I use a straight edge so scribe it and follow your line. Good luck David
  17. Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of holster makers here. One suggestion off the top is to make your patterns up out of paper or cardboard until you get what you want. It s a lot cheaper than leather. Good luck David
  18. Looks nice, it is different. I like how it is not just straight and square. David

    Newest Coaster

I wondered what you were going to come up with after the holiday coasters Joe. Looks nice like the wood grain. David
  21. Patterns for the artistically challenged can be found in tattoo books, coloring books, embroidery books, etc... As well as the regular leather pattern books. You can make copies and trace them or just use the design as an idea and go from there. Then there are the people that just draw it out and it looks great the first timeout ( not me). Good luck David
  22. Very nice, I wish I could free hand art like that. David
