  1. messing up with the leathercraft, I did have general question about finishing edges as you, but not only for thin leathers (btw - 4/5 is not much thin) . and you now what? - you're dam' right - it wears off and become ruined over the short period of time. I did my best, tried several methods as you.. The only thing that looks good and stays much on the edge is the leather edge paints (not just dye, but flexible coat).
  2. + to the question catalog? prices? customization?
  3. why someone can't wish you just a good luck? have you sold anything?
  4. It is a huge issue for buyers out of US, who don't want to pay additional % for bank transfer fee. You guys live in US and can't call them and find out?! what's the answer from SLC?
  5. chicago screws are not the best way to strengthen the item witch can potentially experience force pressure. tubular rivets will do better reinforcement, or simply sewing.
  6. + Buckleguy good supplier
  7. sounds good. why not sale good ones (not first whatever grade) too??
  8. Yes, there is. It's called 'milled' have a look at Spriengfield leather company, there were some in different weights..
  9. could have more scrap out of that side than usually.. grade is a subject to suspect - those resellers buy in bulk, and the best quality that you can get directly from tannery. but you can try of course. i did buy recently WC eng bridle black for 95 bucks - awaiting for delivery. you can check on their website. there is stuff from overstock or similar
  10. I appreciate for your kind support, but looking for WC leather. It will take a lot time to get new leather samples, redeveloping products etc. - a mess ))

not only those you mentioned. the major problem here is that those manufacturers only have 1mm or similar thread thicknesses. which doesn't give us, craftsman, variation on in thicknesses, regular stocks etc. ...
