  1. I have the 3.85mm pricking irons and they are nice.
  2. I get all my Wuta stuff from eBay or Amazon. While I haven't tried their edgers, I have been happy with every purchase and transaction. They are some "stand up" guys.
  3. I agree. Can I actually see the blade color showing thru the leather. My first sheath was made out of 5-6 ounce for a knife this size. I think that was too thin.
  4. That looks awesome. I feel ya on the brass. It is tough to work with
  5. If you try another, you may want to seat it a little deeper in the holster. The trigger sticking out is usually a no no around here. Just a thought...
  6. @MakerUnknown, I feel the same way about Terry's little clicker knife. When it is out of it's sheath I am super concerned with where it is. Gawd, that little knife scares me.
  7. I would smile a very wry smile every time I opened that bag. Sweet.
  8. Keep it up, olfart.
  9. Another note on the Tandy. I have owned 2 that came from lot buys. One I gave away, the other is still sitting all lonely in it's package. Also, a little perspective. I'm just a part time hobbyist. I am not making any income from my pieces. I still say a Knipschield is a worthwhile investment. Sometimes things pay for themselves in convienance. It is nice to push that razor sharp item right thru anything I want to cut. Here is a piece of 7-8 ounce molded over on itself. The knife rolled right thru it.
  10. I agree with everything @Sanch said. Even the most novice person's here have brought unique ideas to the table. One person that I take inspiration from who isn't on here is Don Gonzales. He owns DG Saddlery down near College Station. I highly suggest his YouTube channel. That guy just grabs and works that leather like it is just a piece of cardboard. He just has a confidence with it that astounds me. Every time I pick up a piece I'm terrified of messing it up. Don just grabs it, and gets after it. He's a lot of fun to watch. Thanks to everyone here who helped me along.
  11. I'll second that. I didn't know what sharp was until I had a knife from Terry. Oh man, be careful. I have the French model and really couldn't be happier.
  12. That is the perfect philosophy. Bag looks great.
  13. Great story. Welcome aboard.
  14. Learn something new everyday.....
  15. I'll drag it over one day. Lol
  16. I like SLC. What little experience I have had buying from them was great. And I would like to add, it was their videos that got me interested in dealing with them. Kevin is so entertaining, I had to throw some money their way.
  17. Sweet
  18. Stellar job!
