  1. I use a spindle sander and have been very satisfied with the results. To bad you don't have a Harbor Frieght over there.
  2. Built this for a local hunter. The knife sheath is for a custom skinner he had made for a friend. It came in a kydex sheath...
  3. Very nice!
  4. Ditto on the set screws.
  5. The Rex has a pretty good reputation. I bought a 1951 pfaff 131 boat anchor. Dang that thing is heavy. The stitch adjustment was locked up. Used penetrating oil and heat. Worked for me, too bad you were not so lucky.
  6. I'm a lefty, but shoot right handed, right eye dominant.
  7. Well done!
  8. Nice work. I do all my patterns for right handed people. If I have a lefty, I just flip them over.
  9. Nice job!
  10. I put them on the strap at first, mag pouches as well. I was told it interferes with back pack straps. I have put a loop over the end of the shoulder strap that a mag pouch with a belt clip can go on when desired. I have also put a belt loop on the back of the speedloader pouch that can fit over the chest strap and ride to either side of the holster. Will do, should be soon.
  11. Thanks, I do enjoy building them. Today I started one for a Kimber 1911 stainless in 10mm.
  12. Very pretty. Nice tooling as well.
  13. Yes, yes it was! 3 guys, 2 dogs, shotguns, a fun time was had by all!

    Bridle and Reins

    Very nice indeed.
  15. I think you did just fine. I learned the lesson about cheap tools as well. The devil is in the details, and that is what you don't get with cheaper tools.

    Nice work!
  17. Yep, ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
  18. Freaking cool! Was a rabid duck hunter when i lived in Spokane. Not so much now. Very nice and personal. Abby the lab is very jealous.
  19. Maybe a dark marksalot and the point of a edging beveler/burnisher? I ran an ad on next-door for a wood turner. I got a response, and for a contribution to a local charity I got a burnisher turned with a point on it. This is great for those inside spots that need a bit of burnishing.
  20. No worries Randy. Pm me if you have any questions. Looks like you're on the right path!
  21. Very nice work
