  1. Cool man, not for the silent carry though...
  2. Another trick I've seen is to use a awl and make a hole in the corner. If you get the needle near it it will pretty much drop in.
  3. Very nice! A local Tandy shop got me hooked as well. Gee, that's kinda expensive ain't it.. well, what if I knock 30% off for you? Good, now you'll need.................
  4. Very nice work!
  5. I wish I had a pat answer to this. I will use the smallest stitch that will work, and I try to avoid square corners.
  6. Welcome from the Washington peninsula!
  7. Nice work.
  8. Nice work. I just did one for an older guy (older than me). And I made it a bit big and left some space at the top to grip it. Works great. I have used the finger hole though, and that works fine as well. Would just preferr to not have a hole.

    Nice work!
  10. I bought a pfaff 130 not too long ago. It sewed, but stitch adjustment and all was pretty locked up. WD40 and a heat gun did wonders.
  11. Welcome from another from Washington state. I do mainly holsters myself.
  12. Very nice! On my list of want to have!
  13. Welcome from Sequim! Woodworking skills will help tremendously. Making molds and forms for wet molding is a big part of leather work. Be it possibles bags or mag pouches, woodworking is important to leather work.
  14. I love it. But honestly, there's times I wish I had bought the 4. But, not many!
  15. Welcome! Look forward to seeing posts from you. I have a cobra class 3 that will sew 7/8".
  16. i tend to insert the first needle through the hole but don't pull the thread though very far. insert the second needle, the push it through as you pull the first thread back the way it came. This way you can see if its hung up. do your half hitch and complete.
  17. I meant put a snap on the belt loop.
  18. You could always just put a snap on it.
