  1. It has a set screw that is on the outside of the pulley. You might have to take the belt off to get to it.Part#43 on page 10 in the parts manual. Juki_LU-1508N,_-1508NH.pdf
  2. #5 happens on this model & that is why Singer made the end replaceable on the newer models,There isn't anyway to fix it,we have found that if the hole measures any larger then .950 from side to side it is worn & won't sew properly due to too much slop in the shuttle.
  3. Looks like it is for the pivot pin engages the clutch so it doesn't need alot a few drops a yr should be enough.
  4. If you don't have one get a web page of some sorts.Alot of people I know go to the local gun ranges & talk with them. You might also try any of your local Sheriffs & City police dept.
  5. Sure would like to BUT ,it's hard enough to stay on top of things with one store!
  6. Make sure it's centered correctly, you might need to give it more foot pressure to hold the leather down when you sew thicker.
  7. We have one, give us a call & we can text you some pics.
  8. It looked like a small bobbin to me.But the race looked like a large one!
  9. It's hard to tell for sure in this pic.The big bobbin measures 1-1/2"x1-1/2",small is 7/8"x1-1/8"
  10. Loosen the screw that holds the knob on & careful the spring doesn't fall out & you can turn the knob from 3 to #4,tighten the screw & see how looks.
  11. Does your machine have a large bobbin machine? The 7-25 base by the needle plate is built-up for the larger bobbin, unlike yours in the pic.
  12. Usually if you Google the canu # the Singer system # will come up along with the Japanese system of # & letters Like 88x1,88x9(Singer),DAx1 (Japanese) or 4:45EB1 Schmtez which is more confusing since only Schmetz uses it.You can also go to Schmetz's website & search, but as long as you have either a Singer system or Japanese system for the machine you'll get the correct needle for the machine.I never use the canu # since they just add to more confusion.
  13. 7-11 is a bookbinder with a long stitch & reverse, flat foot that doesn't walk. This machine has a vibrating foot on it.Which I've seen on other models like the 7-25 which has a large shuttle like the 7-31,33.
  14. Sure it'll work & they even make feet for this machine that are open.
  15. You can use a #138 w/a #22 needle.
  16. As the needle is going down towards the feed dog does it come up about the time the needle enters it? And then it moves back & drops as it pulls out right as it's dropping if so the belt is correct. You can rotate the feed cam on the top shaft to vary when the feet lift. You access this through the hole the feed rod comes out on the back side, there's 2-screws to loosen & rotate it one way & see if it gets better if not go the other. You want the needle to just enter the material as the inside foot comes down to hold it.
  17. These machines like this with a walking foot have down pressure on the foot ,so what happens is when the back or outside foot lifts up it makes it feel like there's a tight spot in it,it's normal.
  18. Turning the lower screw to the left will make reverse longer, the upper one is for forward.
  19. We had a service call from an Amish man ,his machine tied up,my Son went there & in talking with him he found out he never took the end cover off & oiled it & he didn't oil the rest of it very often either ,so he oiled it & it broke loose .Oil is cheap compared to replacing parts!
  20. Call Tenessee Attachment Co @ 800-251-5000 & tell them you have a Juki TSC-441 & they can make you one, they will also need a sample of the binding & thickness of leather your binding.
  21. There's a bracket hold on with 2-screws behind the tension unit,it probably needs to be bent more to take the gap out between the release plunger & it.You can do this 2-ways,the easiest for me is to wedge a screwdriver in front & one in back of it & bend it so the lower part is bent towards the machine to lessen the gap.The other way is to take the whole tension unit off & bend the bottom & re-install,you might have to do it a couple of times to get it set so it opens enough.
  22. Switch the direction your motor runs.
  23. The part called the hook saddle is the part the hook fastens to,the large hook is taller than the small hook so the saddle is made shorter @ the top for the large bobbin hook.So you have to get one from a large bobbin machine or try to buy one from Pfaff.
